- Madden 16 plays incredibly well! And I was blown away with the physics and broadcast style in Madden 16. I think looking back on it, Madden 16 was one of the better in the series, and it was made on the Ignite Engine!

None of the ps4/xbox one maddens hold a candle to the ps2 era, but madden 16 is one of the best modern maddens. Madden 25 is the only ps4/xbox one madden I think is better.

16 is a personal favorite of mine. I love the ignite engine in this game and Ultimate Team/Draft Champions were at there best in my opinion.

at 9:25 in Madden 23 that catch would have been incomplete - the defender would have barely touched him even though he had possession and it would have been knocked out. It's crazy as Madden has developed, its become so much more unrealistic
The replays on NFL2K in regards to TV presentation were fantastic That's what pissed me off when we lost them. And we just had madden I'm not madden a decade

I quit “playing” madden when I became convinced that it’s built to be played as a simulation…with no human input. Madden 17 brought back slow sim that could be selected within supersim. In 16 you could use coach mode or you could move your controller over in play now games. So 17 had slow sim AND the ignite engine. It plays very different using slow sim to watch the games than any madden after it. Considering it’s the only ignite engine madden with actual slow sim. All of these madden slow sim leagues are using later maddens on frostbite. Everything is repeated over and over and over. I’ve found w Madden 17 slow sim franchise on ps5 it’s an intense game to watch every time. Throw the commentary in the trash though. Thanks for the shout floopy
this is the exact reason i stopped playing madden. but i stopped at madden 18. i was wasting money on points and packs trying to make my team good only to watch a video on someone explaining why the games are pre programmed and how human input makes no difference. it made so much sense and made me quit playing. i’m pretty glad i did it would make me rage so much especially on ultimate team matches. the amount of broken controllers lmao

I flirted with this Madden being the best for the XBOX One but when I went back and played more and more Maddens from Madden 07 for the PS3. I would have to say Madden 16 is just an all round okay Madden for me. Gameplay was okay and franchise mode was okay. I would honestly say Madden 25 is the best for this gen and up to Madden 22. The worst was Madden 19 without a doubt.
Well you're in the minority if you think Madden 07 for the PS3 was even a good game. Most people agree it was terrible and most people would consider Madden 07 from the PS2 to be the much better game. Having said that, I love Madden 16 and still play it to this day. The Franchise mode is basic, but the gameplay is so fine tuned and realistic that it keeps you engaged. All Pro with default sliders gives you a great game, penalties work, fatigue is realistic as well as injuries. I also love Madden 25, but it's too easy and arcadish.. however the presentation is dynamite..I think Madden 16 1st, and 17 2nd are the best PS4 era Maddens with Madden 25 just slightly behind.
@@bayoubengal I never said Madden 07 was a good game I said I went back and played Maddens from PS3 Madden 07 and up from that point. However even tho you don’t read my messages very well I do agree after going back and playing Madden 16 again here recently I like it a lil more but I’m finding out I like Madden 15 the most for the Xbox One gen of consoles. I agree about Madden 25. The only thing that made that game good honestly was the player movement and control was probably the best out of any Madden but saying that I actually don’t care a whole lot of the gameplay. Madden 15 and 16 are nice in the gameplay department. I just like the total package of Madden 15 the most.

Madden 16 gets a lot of hate for the OP aggressive catch and rightfully so but other than that, this game was incredible. Maybe I’m biased because it was my first Madden game but the gameplay and animations were solid and Draft Champions was a brilliant addition to the game.

How do you set this up in broadcast mode
when you go to exhibition, if you put the controller between both of the teams it will to cpu vs cpu and you can watch like he did.
Only Madden I have ever played, funny enough when I played the ai against each other for last seasons semi finals and super games it accurately predicted who would win, all with the old rosters 😂.

I've only played Madden 03,05,15,16,18,19,20,21,22,23,and 24. The old Maddens are great especially with the old rosters. Now ea is money hungry like for UT your credit card has to suffer and x factors or pretty annoying they give a pretty unfair advantage and sometimes give players the upperhand.

I was born in 1979. Nostalgia for me is actually the Sega Genesis Madden's, so when I say the last good Madden was from the PS2 era, that's not my nostalgia speaking. I cannot decide if it is better or worse to be me in that on one hand, I got to see football games be made when there was competition allowed which resulted in us consumers getting an improved(noticeably) sports game every year, but have been disappointed every new EA football release for almost 20 years now(06 was the first Madden that regressed). On the other hand, if you've only eatin bad sandwiches your whole life, if you get a sandwich that is improved, you may not get the best sandwich, but you think you are.
No..that would be Madden 2005, in my opinion. I do like Madden 16 though, actually Madden 25(14)-17 I think are all pretty good and Madden 20 kinda holds a special place in my heart. Not only is my QB Mahomes on the cover and we actually went on to win the Super Bowl that year, but also the gameplay was better than it had been in 18 and 19, and I played it a lot with friends. Madden 10-12 on Xbox 360 are pretty good.

Stopped buying maddens after 15. I only play modded ncaa14 and modded Madden 25 on PS3. That's the ultimate football experience video game wise.

Yo man, I recently bought madden 16 for ps4 and no matter what position I’m playing in a game, whenever I switch players, my character just automatically dive tackles??? Any idea to fix it? I can’t find anything on it
not sure man, I just played the other day and I am not having this issue....
