- (1) With the Steelers unable to secure a veteran, proven #2 option at WR, we believe we can lean on Pat Freiermuth as our #2 option. History shows that success can be had with the TE being a top 2 option on offense, and Arthur Smith's background is one of those examples. (2) We hopefully will carry a young offensove line into the season, starting Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier. Will they be ready for primetime? (3) James Daniels has been one of the solid pieces of the Steelers' line that struggle to protect its QB. Do we extend Daniels or do we move on after the season and let James play for a contract? (4) CJ, Chris James, joins us again to discuss the opposing QBs within our division. Strengths, weaknesses, & rankings.

This is how I see this OL shaping out.
This year, left to right. Washington, Jones, saumalu, Frazier, daniels, and Fautanu.
Next year, same lineup except we put in Mccormick for daniels and draft another OL player.
2026, Washington, Jones, Fautanu, Frazier, Mccormick and a rookie RT.
CH your first to say what I have been thinking too about Burrows wrist injury could be a more difficult recovery then people think and possible some permanent complications

They use Freirmuth at number 2 receiver and then use a combination of the others on different plays and put Washington on the tight end

They definitely have the ability to be better at OL... Depends on Arthur Smith and the playbook for the week of play.... Can do ALOT double team to help the center and use counter to help out on pass rush on the ends... We don't need Russ to do much if the OL holds up during the passing plays... Gonna be 2 TEs sets for blocking and pass plays, need Washington to just put his hands up for Russell to see him, at that angle; its MT. WWOOSSSHHHH or nobody catching it....

Do the Steelers need to keep James Daniels or are we prepared to move on?
Keep him keep the depth don't create a hole.
I think we should trade him for an offensive player before the season starts
We have to let daniels go after the season. Couple reasons, we still can't absolutely bet that Fautanu is a tackle at the nfl level. He's a sure thing at least for a guard spot. Mccormick is the depth that is capable of replacing either current starting guard after a year of development. And then there's Cook, promising talent in itself. This line has gone from abysmal to promising in a very short time.
Cant keep him next year. No way should they pay him $16-$20 mil a year@stevepickering9697

And Pat they’re our future for 3 yr window to get 2 SBs. I disagree with you Big B on who we extend Cam will have double digit sacks and 2 batted passes a game a comeback year Nahjee and JWar both have career years avg over 5 yds carry Nahjee 1400 rush 225 rec 10 tds Jwar 1100 rush 8 tds 400-500 rec look what both did with avg oline this one will be elite by game 6 Russ 35 tds 10 ints 4200 yds comeback player of year! Steelers win North 13-4 # 1 seed then Super Bowl! I’m fan of 53 yrs wife and friends can verify my predictions are 98% right called last 2 sb wins and the 1 loss cause was best year ever seen a qb consistently throwing dimes all year like Rodgers does!
