This video is about a short hike from Mürren to Gimmelwald. For once we hiked through the forest instead of taking the direct way over the road.
We were very early on the Schilthorn cable car. The reason for this are the again hot temperatures that await us today.
We expect up to 38 degrees in certain regions of Switzerland.
This heat is now already for a week with us and - I do not like it.
Rasta and I are very low on energy and hope for cooler temperatures.
In this video I will once again tell a lot. Some of you have requested this, so I will comply with this request.

Never get tired of watching breathtaking view of Swiss countryside videos. I agree with you as a woman I feel safe to hike with many sign post available in most hiking trails. I had memorable times hiking during my solo trip last year in Schynige Platte panorama trails and Swiss National Park.
So true - I'm never afraid to get lost somewhere:)

I agree with everything you said about the Swiss, As an American living there for 2 years I found the Swiss to be very nice, everything runs on time, everything is "perfect" but it takes a while for them to invite you into their lives. It was almost a year before I was invited for dinner at peoples homes, but after that I was "in". I still keep in touch with them to this day.
That's exactly what I mean - they need some time - I am the same, btw :)

I love your taste of hike, and I believe you have a unique personality. I would say that your channel is also unique and one of a kind. Your taste of work and Rasta make this channel distinctive. Besides the incredible Swiss countryside and magical villages, I am so impressed that the Swiss have such love and respect for nature and their country. Everything is so neat and spotless!! You truly made the right decision to move to the country. If I was blessed to be able to live in Switzerland I would be in one of the charming villages. ❤😊
I would definitely recommend you to live in a village in the countryside. In the city it's way too hectic - especially once you get used to that quietness :)

It was a sebaceous gland under his skin and he ripped it open. That's why so much blood came out which dried afterwards. It takes a while for that to heal - he keeps scratching it open.
May I ask the starting point for this walk from Murren to Gimmelwald? I know the paved route but this forested route is more to my liking. Thanks a lot. Will be visiting in October for one month. Geoff
