It was the only splurge I did for the 2 years while I waited for back retirement pay, buying every edition in the run up to the album release. 😂 I still haven’t listened to every single song because I like letting them sit for about a month or so before I move on to another. It’s so good knowing I have more to hear. I’ll just about be caught up by the time he does another release. 😂

He does all of his own engineering and post production. He does everything.! Video he leaves that to Sam usually. You have to show them the Nas remix and then then the back on 74 message in the Bottle jungle retake, and then the Fred again mashup where it’s all electronic music that he turns into regular song. That shits fire.

Me having grown up in Germany (and a bit in the Netherlands & France) am getting the references. It may have to do with your age as well. For some reason Ren is much older than his natural age in this, I guess he has grown up with the music of the sixties and seventies, possibly through his parents' musicality.

I loved hearing you talk about cadence. My son was a drummer for many years. He still plays around with it. (Once a drummer, always a drummer) His daughter is named Cadence. We call her Cady, but you get it. 😁 Ren is amazing regardless what genre or cadence. ❤

When AR first heard Loco he did a bit of beatboxing and said it would be fun to do a remix. Would love you both to do something with that. It's all acapella anyway, but would love to hear it with more percussion.

A good example of his cadences over a steady beat is him doing Losing It. It’s mostly an instrumental by Australian DJ Fisher, who only has one lyric sporadically in the song “I’m losing it” Ren turns it into an extravaganza & is just having fun the entire time. He usually does his own beats, which makes this one different but just as good.
