  • Chefmaster color is one of the more affordable color sets for chocolate. Recently I posted a video Chefmaster vs Colour Mill and Colour Mill won hands down. But that doesn't mean that Chefmaster isn't a great set of colors to have around. That is why I made this video. Also make sure you subscribe and click that notification bell so you know when the 2nd part if this video comes out. That video is where we will be dipping pineapples using these beautiful colors. • Time For Chocolate Dip...
    **Steps**
    1) Place chocolate in a microwave safe bowl or cup. Add in a pinch of Paramount crystals.
    2) Microwave for 30 secs and stir
    3) Microwave for 15-20 secs and stir
    4) If chocolate is mostly smooth but some is still not melted... STOP and Stir until smooth. skip to step 6.
    5) If chocolate is mostly chunky still Microwave it for 10 more secs and follow step 4.
    6) Shake your oil based food coloring and add to chocolate.
    7) To get the Teal/Blue Gree color add green first and stir til the coloring is fully mixed in. Then add the blue and stir til the color is fully mixed in. Add more blue or green as needed to achieve your desired color. if too dark add in more white chocolate or white oil based coloring.
    8) To get the purple color add in your purple and stir til the color is fully mixed in. Next add in some blue to darken your purple. Stir til the color is fully mixed in. Next add pink to warm up your purple. Stir til the color is fully mixed in. Add in more purple, blue and pink til you reach your desired color.
    9) To get the orange color start by adding orange and stir til the color is fully mixed in. Then add some yellow to make the color richer and stir til the color is fully mixed in. Next add some pink to brighten the orange some and stir til the color is fully mixed in. Add in more orange, yellow and pink til you reach your desired color.

    Hi! Would you please tell me how you’re getting your chocolate melts to look so fluid? I know you said that you used paramount crystals, but mine doesn’t ever get this thin-looking. I mostly use the Ghirardelli melts. Thank you

    • @kreativetreatst.v.4234
      @kreativetreatst.v.4234  Год назад +1

      Honestly I don't do anything special. I honestly have only used the Ghirardelli chips never the melts but with paramount crystals any chocolate should get this fluid. Make sure you are heating properly and allowing your chocolate to cool.

    Thank you for the informative video! Do you have a color chart for mixing oil based. I use alot of white chocolate that I would like to learn how to color properly...thank you!

      You're welcome. And I honestly don't use a chart. There are some charts on Chefmaster's website for their gel colors. But it can be helpful with understanding colors.

    How would you make a magenta?

    • @kreativetreatst.v.4234
      @kreativetreatst.v.4234  3 года назад +1

      Good evening... Magenta is a mix of purple and red. I would start with red. Pink then red (this vid can show you how ruclips.net/video/bQGy7ztSJOE/видео.html) then add in your purple. Make your purple separately and add it in til you get your desired color.

    Acabo de usar colorante chef master en chocolate blanco y le cambia el sabor, es horrible el sabor 😢 como haces para agregar tanto colorante y que no le cambie el sabor al chocolate

      Good chocolate and allow it to develop over time. Also make sure you shake it well. My favorite is colourmill tho.

    Hii, so for some reason whenever I use the colors orange and yellow they both seize up and leave the chocolate too thick and really bad to work with, do you have any tips?

    • @kreativetreatst.v.4234
      @kreativetreatst.v.4234  Год назад

      Warm your bottles up and shake well. If it's getting thick it's cause the oil in the bottles isn't being mixed in with the color. Which is causing the chocolate to seize.

    What is the temp when you add color mine always seize up

    • @kreativetreatst.v.4234
      @kreativetreatst.v.4234  2 года назад

      I add when it is still hot (over 94°). Are you shaking your bottles good??? Is the color oil based???

    • @hazelthequeen1997
      @hazelthequeen1997 2 года назад

      Yes it’s the candy color but it still gets thick

    • @kreativetreatst.v.4234
      @kreativetreatst.v.4234  2 года назад

      Make sure you are shaking your bottles before use to mix in the oils. If it is clumpy you can heat up the bottles to loosen it up then shake. Darker colors especially get thick quicker.

    How was the taste of the purple

    • @kreativetreatst.v.4234
      @kreativetreatst.v.4234  2 года назад

      It taste good. The trick is a good chocolate and not to use a bunch. Let it develop over time. The longer it sits the darker it gets.
