You can tell the arrogance in which Mrs James addressed the crowed. It was like she was delivering an empty speech, just for the sake of it. How can you care about what is going on when you have sold out to being praised?
Question were any of the other family/friends of people who were promoted during this ceremony given an opportunity to make a speech about their loved one/friend? I do not agree with trying to “educate” an American citizen or anyone else on why it is bad to exercise their 1st Amendment rights. Also, as someone in the public eye, which in this case Ms. James had to actively seek after, you stand the chance of other people not liking you or your behavior.
Let me begin with not once was my LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST mentioned. A whole lot of God? God who? There is only one GOD my Heavenly Father and the LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. There is no other. The only Jesus mentioned was Jesus Martinez. Who’s GOD was the prayer too? In supposedly God’s house what??? Nonsense! Who ever says a thing like that??? So bad and so sad. And the other thing is the gal, the supposed boss is she an ex firefighter??? Who selected her for the position??? That position belongs to a seasoned fully experienced FDNY Firefighter who has served the Fire Department full hearty. What are her credentials as a FDNY. How many fires has she attended and how did she come up in the ranks??? An investigation to her credibility and or her credentials are in order. Let’s see who will take that task for all the fallen firefighters that risk their lives for her and way before her. We’ll see time tells on everyone and all. I’m so looking forward moving forward.
