- This is, regrettably, my final song. As I don’t speak Swedish (beyond Sabaton lyrics) I enlisted the help of a new songwriter for this song, and credit for (most of) the lyrics goes to Liamstrand1 on Fiverr. There was NOT a Swedish volunteer division during either World War, though Wiking contained an all-Swedish Company within it. I hope you folks enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it, and I hope you continue enjoying my content for years to come. Farewell boys, and may God bless.

Actually, most anti-Communist Swedish volunteers with the Waffen-SS served in the 11th Waffen-SS Panzergrenadier Division "Nordland". Sven-Olov Lindholm founded the anti-Communist "Swedish Socialist Union" (SSS) in 1938. Many of the Swedish volunteers serving with the Finnish Army and with the Waffen-SS were "Lindholm's men".

Slight nitpick however would be that you could shorten some lines to keep the flow of the song, and the fact that we swedes rarely say imperiet/Imperium for the swedish empire(Too Latin sounding, we were still a kingdom and other Germanic countries also used a kingdom title for their empires (reich, riik, rike etc.)).

Can you make a Teufelslied/Pa Vikintog version for the Ukrainian SS Galitzien division? I know there is already an Ukrainian version of the song but it's about the current war and by the way it is still not great because it is in English and not in Ukrainian.

Or just keep the name, “When The Day Comes” The lyrics could be altered to talk about the day when the American people finally had enough and revolted. Kind of similar to the tone of, “We’ve had enough of this.” Personally I like the song’s rhythm, though, trying to translate a Chinese song to English might be a bit hard to match the syllables and instrumentals.

Roughly 200 Swedes at most volunteered to fight in the SS, but Sweden unlike Norway and Denmark was not occupied so collaborators never raised their own SS units and there was never enough volunteers to necessitate the creation of an (on paper) purely Swedish SS unit, but the men at the 1:02 mark in this video are all Swedish members of the Nordland Division, serving in what was called the Schwedenzug - the Swedish Platoon, which was made up out of Swedes, Finnish-Swedes and Estonian-Swedes.
