- Courses in Islamic studies are being offered at many colleges and universities in the United States. And it's not just Muslims signing up for those classes, as VOA's Ali Orokzai notes in this report narrated by Bezhan Hamdard.

Who I picking these topics
If you are an outsider to a religion, don't learn it from religious people, not exclusively at least. Religious people most often can not be trusted to give a good representation of their own, or other religions, as they are often heavily biased with their particular brands of magical thinking. For Islam a heavy dose of "Revisionist school of Islamic studies" should also be included. Muhammad, like Jesus, are myth and legend are not supported with evidence as knowable historical figures, and are purely mythical in supernatural senses. Most of it is just man made stories, often passed off as actual events to the credulous masses.
Hello 👋, brother I would like you to reconsider. Every saying of the prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) has a recorded of narration. Also, the Quran has not been changed for a thousand years. There are real evidence to prove it. Thank you 😊 .
@@fahedmahases723 Hello, fellow human. I would ask for a reconsideration of reality using critical thinking with an understanding of cognitive biases. It is self evident, given sufficient education, that the supernatural is only imaginary; there is ZERO sound empirical evidence for ANY of it -- if there was, it would appear in science books, put there by religious people, and they would talk about it everyday, but the religious all around the world have exceedingly low and unreliable standards of evidence that is primarily useful in believing arbitrary things which are not true. Mohamed did not speak to an angel, because they are only imaginary, as a study of human religious anthropology shows. Instead it is highly likely Mohamed had Frontal Lobe Epilepsy which can be seen from what is recorded (See "The Friendly ExMuslim" RUclips channel and the EPILEPTIC PROPHET Groundbreaking series). Saying the Qu'ran had not been changed for a thousand years indicates to me there is dogmatic Islamic propaganda knowledge, but not a real understanding of the true origins of Islam, and besides that if it was a fact it would still be irrelevant to the question of if gods or anything supernatural exist or not. Try harder. Break past the religiously inculcated thought-stoppers. Be better.Thank you. :)

lslam promotes tolerance
Surah Al-Mumtahina, Verse 8:
لَّا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ أَن تَبَرُّوهُمْ وَتُقْسِطُوا إِلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ
Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of (your) religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice.
Surah Al-Mumtahina, Verse 9:
إِنَّمَا يَنْهَاكُمُ اللَّهُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ قَاتَلُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ وَأَخْرَجُوكُم مِّن دِيَارِكُمْ وَظَاهَرُوا عَلَىٰ إِخْرَاجِكُمْ أَن تَوَلَّوْهُمْ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُمْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon you on account of (your) religion, and drove you forth from your homes and backed up (others) in your expulsion, that you make friends with them, and whoever makes friends with them, these are the unjust.
