Hi Mike....being technologically impaired myself....I realized just how spoiled I am at all the effort and hard work you go through to post your videos...so THANK YOU! It is greatly appreciated at this end! As far as live streams go...I think it would be fun to see you live from across the pond...but wonder if you would have a set time? I would love to be able to chat along but sometimes I forget when someone is streaming. I would definitely watch the replays but would feel sad at missing them. Either way..whatever is best for you....I will watch them all😄
I don't watch lives when they go out as I only watch videos early in the morning or late at night. I loved the banter between you, Kay and Alfie (I watched on the IndigoBlu channel in three sittings) but that came across without watching it live. Just keep doing what you are doing and that will suit me. I understand how your Mum feels about the kitchen being decorated as I am putting off having our kitchen replaced due to the upheaval - my main concern is how it will affect my 11 year old Akita who hates change!
I enjoyed the Live, so down to earth . However, as you give so much of your time to us on you tube, I ll be happy whichever way. Looks like you need floo powder, or back to that time warp again. I always save your posts to ignore the negativity of the news. See you are having a bit of nostalgia, Blondie and the Stranglers, brilliant. Is it a sign of a misspent youth, that I see art in song lyrics? Bless your parents, change can be difficult,and instil feelings of loss of control,on the decorating front. That alley! Not sure if I’d make it through. Congratulations on getting all the insurances sorted. That sky was amazing! Lives are hard for me given the 8 hour time difference. I’ll hop on when I can 💜. Mr. Deakin LOL! We did that with wall paper in our living room. It is fun! Poor Mrs. Deakin though! She seems resigned to a redo!

Hi Mike! I might be a little bias, but I like watching you at your home studio doing your thing. I don’t much like watching you at Indigo Blue. I’m not sure why? I was happy that you put the Indigo Blue live on your channel, started watching and I think it was too much of a repeat, in the beginning, of going through your lovely new products that put me off a little? I guess I like it when you are running the show? If you do live videos I will be watching! But I also understand that it is not only an investment in new equipment, but also maybe an inconvenience to the others living with you. So, if you decide not to do live videos I will also understand and support you. I just wanted to give you my feedback regarding not watching the recent Indigo Blue live video does not mean that I don’t have interest in your live videos. Hope you Ian and the boys have a great weekend! ✌️👍❤️😊

I understand your Mum's reluctance. Change equals upheaval and at our time of life we want a peaceful existence. It has to be done now though doesn't it? Re livestreams I lie livestreams more for the connections they offer both with the creator and other participants through the chat. I have made real friends online through livestream chats. However, living in Australia livestreams almost always start in the middle of the night for me and I am mostly not awake then. So although I would definitely join you live I probably won't be ale to. Thanks for sharing. 😀💙

Oh Mike, walking through that narrow passageway, they’d find this old lady caught. Couldn’t go forward, couldn’t go back. Claustrophobic. I get off elevators if more than 3 people. I’ll be over for some chocolate, a drink and cheesecake. And leftover pizza. Yes please. My friend lives in a house that I lived in 25 years ago. He has not changed anything. All my painting, trim, cabinets the same as when I moved out. Take care. Love to all.

Glad you treated yourself after your darn awful day . Pizza , chocolate and alcohol , perfect . My pizza always lasts 2 days . I like it just as much cold . I loved your new collection . I’m not bothered if any shows are live or not , I’m in U.K.

Live streaming is 6 of 1 & 1/2 a dozen of the other. The problem with lives is that the timing may not be conducive to all who would watch it at the time & many might watch it later anyway. Dad seems to be enthusiastic about redoing the kitchen. Guess you were successful in bringing Mom around ❤
Your mom probably holds some memories in her kitchen and feels like it’s her space. But she will likely love some updates-once they are finished 😂. What’s mess with uploading the video! So deserving of pizza, beer and chocolate!! I saw your live posted and plan on watching it in increments. This is probably nonsensical, but I feel like if you don’t catch the live when it’s live, you actually missed something.😂 But I know that’s not true, it really is just that it’s long. If I get a chance to sit down and actually craft for an hour and a half, it would be great to turn it on. I just don’t often have that much time altogether. Anyway, I do want to see all the new fabulous products. As always, love to see the babies. Hugs ❤️🤗
I wouldn’t mind live broadcast as long as it was just you and Ian. I watched a little of your live with indigo blue and I would prefer if you and Ian was the center of attention versus adding several others. I would appreciate and enjoy a live with you demoing a project.

I don't like live broadcasts but I think it's because people feel they have to say hello to everyone that joins even if they're half way through a conversation.
I don't know how you can deal with the world wide time problem. I will watch rebroadcasts at my convenience. I wish you luck.
I think lives can be good depending on what you are doing. Promoting new products etc, it would be worth it when you demonstrate the items by making something. Q&A's can be fun too and they don't all have to be about "work". 😊
I like live streams. They can be fun.
Hi Mike, I rarely catch lives, I'm in oz. It's always after the fact. They annoy me with the personal chit chat which gets disjointed and hard to follow. Great for family face time lol but not soo good for real time tutorials or crafting. I find that most seem to be the same small friends group and ends up an intimate catch up. Nothing wrong with that, it's just I have lots of subscriptions that I'm viewing/following and not a lot of watch hours to do it in, so I am not interested in making 'appointments ' to catch a live. It's hard enough keeping/remembering real appointments e.g doctors, dentists etc.

I enjoy lives; the ability to ask questions, chat, etc. however, it’s difficult when lives are during the typical workday of 9-5. Hard to figure out details due to all of the time zones.
I like live stream Q&A and popped in to watch the Indigoblu live. You’ll had a fun time with the makes. It was informative with your great new products. The shipping to the U.S.A. Is pricey.
Mike, you can do live tutorials but Ian will have to be a moderator and read viewers questions to you. I think it would be fun 🤩 and we can hit the thank you button. Like being an instant Angel.
Although I do love live action for tutorials and updates, I rarely get to catch them. I end up watching them after the fact, as I did with the indigo blue broadcast. I tend to watch you tube at the end of my day (Ohio, USA), when all of the UK has gone off to sleep.
We have the cloud formation that you start this video with - out our front windows the sun is shining and beautiful fluffy clouds passing by, and, the back windows have angry black clouds festering with imminent rain, thunder and lightening!
And, yes, Dad has made the decision for Mum 😂🤣😅

Love that was the week that was❤ you start my weekend off. Really dislike chat and tutorial if you do a tutorial that's great but to keep stopping and reading what people are say on line drives me insane I personally think its rude but that's just my opinion😅hope mum loves her kitchen when it's done. She's lucky to have a family that cares. ❤
There’s one thing I don’t like about live is when the broadcaster answers a question that pops up without reading the question out loud first because we might not be reading the same comments at the same time and if we are only hearing the answer it gets confusing . Good luck with the lives .
I think your mum is probably like me, very stubborn. I like things in my home to "my" idea. Lol
I don't mind live, as long as it is only chatting. I have tried to watch live diy videos and I'm not a fan. While the person is crafting, they will stop and chat and I sitting here waiting to see what the next step in the project is. This causes a little frustration on me, so i just don't watch. If I can go back later and watch when it isn't live I can fast forward through .
I like a live when it’s live, not so much on replay.
you asked for feedback about doing lives., I don't mind them, though they can go on a tad longer than pre-recorded videos and the CHAT goes by way TOO FAST. sos I just ignore the chat function.
My main issue is Facebook lives vs RUclips lives. For some unknown reason (at least to me) my computer ( a Mac mini) and Facebook lives do not get along. About ten minutes into any live I've tried to watch FB the screen suddenly goes dark and tells me the video ended. I have to refresh my Facebook connection and sometimes that makes it come back sometimes I just get the "spinny circle" telling me we're not connected yet. This does NOT happen with RUclips lives. So If I see someone is doing a LIVE on Facebook , I don't bother watching it live . I wait till it's stored on FB or YT thenI can watch without issues.

Hello Mike, I do love to watch your videos, you teach me so much, thank you. You ask for comments re. live streaming etc. My thought straight away was so much trouble for what? We love you the way you do what you do now. Live stuff can be very long (and maybe boring)! Is it really worth it?!

I don’t watch live stream because I find it frustrating to listen to chat with people I don’t know. Your videos are best when you are in teacher mode for me. Must just be me but I don’t do Facebook or any social media. Same problem I have real friends not people I don’t really know.
Hi, I watched the video on Indigo Blu tube so didn’t watch again on your channel. I think occasional live streams would be neat. My only suggestion would be to give plenty of notice when it’s going to be. Many live streams of artists I follow tend to be surprises and I miss them though of course can watch the recorded version afterwards on the channel. One question: why do you think a majority of your followers are in the US (like me) rather than the UK?
The US has a larger population than the UK.
I'm not a huge fan of lives. If there are only limited viewers it isn't too bad, but Tim Holtz size lives are only ever fast forwarded. I have OCD & a lot of the repetition of all the "hi there" "hello" etc drive me insane. Just my view. I watch a Jofy live monthly & it's usually a small group with very little chat, just art. At the end of the day, you do you. Well done to your dad for making the redecoration decision for your mum easy 😊
I'm not a fan of lives. I would watch them though as a video. I like your videos as they are now.
Personally, I don't care for live video. It probably would cut down on your editing time (not sure, I'm not technically oriented), but I enjoy your videos as they currently are.
