10:06 That's a mural of James Gunn's deceased dog Dr. Wesley Von Spears he passed away in 2020. He previously cameoed in many Gunn films, including GOTG Vol 1 & 2, and The Suicide Squad.
Frankenstein is completely self-obsessed, like he said if he was blind he would off himself, so to him ending her was mercy. To him "If I think this way she must think the same", he does the same thing with the bride and this is how he sees the world
I think the reason why Erik killed the women was because he was leaving and taking the dog. He didn't want to leave the blind woman alone so in his own sick baby mind, he killed her.
@danielendless I don't think so, he was already set on killer her which is why he ldcg the dog since he was leaving with em. Plus he didn't kill her with any anger of brutality, just one big swing.
@@danielendless he k*lled her because he thought he would be doing her a favor since her greatest fear was being alone and he was going to leave to chase the bride and he wanted the dog as a travel companion
Yup Eric deals in absolutes. When you and I say "life isn't worth living" we know it's hyperbole, it's not literal. But when he thinks "she thinks her life is not worth living without me or the dog", he takes it literally and proceeds to kill her because to him it's merciful
Wait, so the blood was fresh, and the body was not rotting yet, so what if the doctor we saw back in chasing squirrels was the real deal and she was telling the truth but after a day or few Clayface killed her to take her place and get more information about themascara for someone else or for a another plan
That is my theory, he killed her but i think he just did it because... Karlo is a sick son of a bitch he probably just wanted to walk around on her shoes for idiotic reasons or whatever
I think he is, they faked us out with The Bride and Nina being dead after fighting Circe, and it's very James Gunn to do one fakeout so the audience thinks this one is also a fakeout but it's not... besides, Rick Flag Sr. is a badass but we're talking Clayface, this mf fights Batman. Still, it'd be a waste of perfectly good Frank Grillo
The ending of this episode is basically James Gunn proving the theory that a character can kill whoever they want, but killing a dog or cat is where the audience draws the line. I'm 100% positive everyone was mad at Eric for killing Bogdana but was way more worried about him killing the cats or Ivan the dog.
ALTERNATE THEORY: The Dr's personality as Clayface was totally different from her personality in the interrogation scene in the earlier episode, so it's possible that Clayface became the Dr afterwards and the vision was real. Perhaps the Princess hired Clayface to pretend to be the doctor and Clayface was intending to discredit the vision to get them off the Princess' trail.
Thought: what if the vision was real but the result of the Commandos attempting to kill the Princess? Maybe she decided that no country or government could be trusted and she retaliated.
Went back to the previous episode and counted the kids in the basement, Weasel's Lawyer mentioned the death of 8 children and theres a total of 8 kids including the girl that went upstairs so its not possible thats the girl that grewup to be his lawyer.
@@joelsimao4901 my theory is the he's being included in the count. They just round up 8 kid's instead of saying 7 kid's and a farmer with a shotgun, since it's faster. Also, when I rewatch the explosion, I don't see the girls body upstairs when the weasel is trying to escape with the blonde one and I only count 6 dead kids when he wakes up. Just my thoughts on it. 🤷♂️
@@TheMadhatter1313 Maybe its possible, Weasel went upstairs and her body wasn't their, if she was alive she would have been a witness but the Lawyer said that there was no direct evidence meaning there would just be the testimony of the cops that arrest Weasel, cops that opened fire on a weird creature holding a wimpering child, failed to rescue the child and priortized arresting Weasel over saving the kid, if they did a truthfull testimony it wouldn'y look good for them, if a proper investigation happened they would know the source of the explosion(shotgun) that there was a body of an old man with said shotgun, but no the police rushed to shut the case as to not cause an uproar with the public, after all 8 kids got killed and that would upset a lot of people, and the old man was living in the middle of the woods probably was a loner, didn't have close relatives, no one to notice him
@@joelsimao4901 and if the lawyer is the child that survived, there probably isn't any evidence to confirm that she was there since the cops didn't see her as well. The only person that could confirm she was there would have to be the weasel himself. Maybe she's also trying to get him to remember her as well.
I do like how this episode kinda subverts the trend we've been having these past few episodes. Like the teaser for each episode is "flashbacks of character's past" and the episode builds on it to be like "Even though they may look like a monster, this is why you should care for them" Meanwhile, Erik's episode trailer set him up to be a tragic figure, longing for something he wants but has done nothing to earn (love, especially from The Bride*). Going in, I expected it to show that there's a sympathetic angle to it (like how he felt betrayed by his father's/creator's actions and that's warped his perception of love) and while there's potential for that to still be true, I like the episode showing that his actions (i.e. clinging to a past that never really was, projecting his own thoughts to convince himself of false realities, etc) are what make him (still) a monster * speaking of which, is there another way to refer to her besides the Bride 'cause I feel a bit icky referring to her as his Bride when literally one of the key components of her character is her not wanting anything to do with Erik
Tbf, how can ya give a lecture on Themyscira and not discuss lesbians? It's an island of beautiful eternally youthful healthy warrior women where men can't go without being slaughtered. There was a comic that explained where the new amazons come from, lets just say that it's very dark. Why is everybody doing the Bane spine break move now?!! Phosphorus does what needs to be done, but dude literally has no chill. Eric could've stayed with the woman until she passed away. She was very old and he's immortal and so is the bride. He's also too much of a man-child to be patient and considerate.
To be fair. Phosphorus doesn't have any skin to where his face is. So we don't know what he's actually feeling when he's committing acts. Because all we see is a monster. Just like Weasel. Speaking of which, where is he at the moment?
Rick Flag Sr. better not be dead. He could have possibly passed out due to his injuries, especially to his spine. I hope in the next episode someone found him and he survived and is now recovering in the hospital and not paralysed. Eric is such an idiot and he is so blinded by his "love" that he is disillusioned by everything and everyone and only wants the Bride when she clearly hates his guts and beats his ass every time she encounters him. I totally wasn't expecting to see Clayface and I hope we see more of him in future episodes. I figured the princess was fooling everyone and was just trying to get secrets about the US gov't through Flag Sr. by sleeping with him and since he was under her spell(I can see he clearly cared for her safety and was blinded by that) he warned her of what was coming and now she is prepared to kill the squad and possibly Rick Flag Sr. if he survived-i really hope he did cause as soon as he is awake he will go to the princess and try to save her when he could end up losing his life possibly by the princess's hand. I can also see Waller recruiting Eric into joining the squad(probably not knowing that he would end up in jail but he would think he would be closer to the bride in his mind) leading to the Bride and Eric fighting each other nearly to death(which could be possible if there is a nuclear bomb under the jail or if the princess has one), Weasel being freed from the jail and Nina to(for whatever she did) and I can see Phosphorus possibly staying in prison til the end of his days, and if GI robot is repaired he could be a valuable asset to the squad or the army if he is reprogrammed somehow.
Since the blood was still wet, I think the professor we saw with Waller et al was real. This is kind of stinking of a Waller cover up operation because Rick wasn't shy about naming the commandos or that she was right there when Waller gave the execution order, she probably had to go. And Waller would also know Rick isn't dumb, he'd try and prove Cersei wrong.
This all happens in the same day and the blood would be dripping for weeks in that position with that kind of cut. None if what you said makes any sense. 😂
We don't actually know if she was dead long. The cat was still alive and the body was somewhat fresh, not the rot from a few days you would have seen. Clayface becoming her may actually be wholely unrelated to what was going on, maybe a separate plot or something he just felt like doing to get close to the female students? I feel like it may just be a red herring
So now we know that cersei is still the series's Main villain and that the vision that was shown to waller was just manipulation on here part to achieve whatever goal she's after right now finally things are starting to make sense
