Great comment, thank you. We will yet face trying times of our own. And we have much wisdom to learn from those who came and went before us. The next chapter is going to be written about us, and about how we live though it, whether in honor or dishonor. And it will be the greatest chapter yet.
There is wisdom in them to help us in these nerve wracking times. I am glad to discover there are people besides me who treasure these old stories of our ancestors. There are so many of them. Maybe that will help us get in the right frame of mind to fulfill the prophecy of Malachi and turn our hearts to our ancestors and our children.

Thank you. But remember the Scriptures say there are none that are truly good, except one only. The rest of us, because of our sins fall short of the glory of God. Our goal should be to strive to live by every word which proceeds from the mouth of God, so that we may one day become perfect in God. Heaven is a place of just men made perfect.
I agree. Children need to experience some hardships to appreciate their parents. Perhaps that is part of our Heavenly Father's blessings for us, His children. Mortality can give us character. Loved this story! And I have been everywhere in the US that is mentioned. It's nice to be able to know the territory he traveled. Great video!
I bet you had some fun times in all those cities. It is funny but I have not been to any of them outside of Utah. I have been close to some of them. I believe we will have many hardships in the near future, which will ground some of us in the reality of life. Maybe then, the prophecy will be fulfilled where the hearts of the children will turn to their parents, and the hearts of the parents will turn to their children.
@@smallhelmonabigship3524 some of the places you aren't missing much. New York is very worldly. Pittsburgh is in a beautiful part of the country, but there is a lot of pollution. I lived in Logan (UT) for 3 years. Box Elder County is right next to it, if I recall. Logan is one of my all time favorite cities.
@@BettyHorn Yes, I have been to Logan and Brigham City many times, it is a wonderful, beautiful area. The Rocky Mountains are going to be a place of refuge once the judgments pass from there. I suppose that technically I have been to NYC as well. I once stood in the airport on a connecting flight. Technically I was there, I seen the city from the window of the plane but wasn't actually in the city.
Easy to take for granted to ease and comfort in which we live these days. Not to ignore the unique difficulties modern life offers, our struggles are very much of a different stripe.
Most people in the west today have never known famine in their lifetime. Most don't even believe it is possible anymore. My dad once asked his grandfather what pioneer life was like and he said he never had a full stomach until he was eleven years old. He didn't know what it felt like to have a full stomach. He was always hungry.
Oh how little we Saints of today should complain about of our lots in life, this true inspiring human spiritual life event should bolster all of us to live better dedicated Christlike lives as members of His Church on Earth...
Thank you. There saints around the world today who live in even more impoverished and humble conditions, than what is in this account. There are places in Asia, Africa and South America, where a person's very life is in danger if they dare profess a belief in Jesus Christ. Challenges we can't even imagine in Europe and the U.S. Though we will soon face them here too.
There’s people that are going to the highest order of the celestial worlds that are living on this world right now I believe the one that’s writing this for our beautiful thoughts in our beautiful minds is one of those who are in the highest order of heaven we have to do good Constantly and be sweet or we will never by pass The righteous on the right hand of the Lord when you are looking at the Lord they’re on your left hand they are perfect beings .I believe the one that writes these programs as one of them men who are standing on the right hand of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we must call on the Lord and forgive everybody on this earth when we look forward straight to the Lord and not to the left or to the right but straight to the Lord sometimes it’s difficult with life when things are brought up this serve that will turn your sight away from the Lord if we can concentrate on looking at him all the time in our minds and try not to look so much on the things in this world because the things of this world we cannot take anything of this world with us when we die so why do we covet and steal and plunder what are you gonna take with you all man nothing but the things that you’ve done good or badnext world !!! what man with all of his righteousness he can take that with him one man and all of his Richard Snuss what is he gonna take with him what we do good or what we do bad we will have to take with us to the next Life because you can’t take any anything maybe you’ll be lucky to get your bodies but you definitely can’t take anything on this Earthor so why do we want to bind other people 😮 looking at the Lord you’ll see the beautiful souls and profits that I’ve made from this world that is getting ready to come here I won’t be long
