Two Quick Things! 1. Be sure to check out the full 5 Builders 1 City: Season 5 Playlist @ ruclips.net/p/PLDPMzZQglG8A2yUhwJu6731DJT-BBz683 2. Columbia County will be back on Thursday! I've been super sick these past two weeks and not been able to record as much as I'd like to... I'm feeling loads better now though, so we'll be back to the regular schedule from Monday!
my grandmother lives in the 'New Town' past princess street in Edinburgh - I just came back to Australia from a gap year around Scotland and england - the architecture is GORGEOUS!!
My man, finally someone did Edinburgh. I have literally been commenting on all the YTers who play CS2 to make something like Edinburgh. I just moved away from Edinburgh to London, after living there for 9 years. I think the up and down hills with the bridges stretching all over the city is such an interesting look, giving the city many layers. Waverly Station sits in such a cool spot in a large canyon gap next to a castle and the railways going through the gardens next to Princess Street, specially with the bridges going across it. If you are still in Edinburgh, look out for the Salvation Army band playing usually around Princess Street and Cameron Toll, they should be carolling during Christmas. I used to carol with them as my parents used to run the Salvation Army just a kilometre from Princess Street. This video made my day, thank you :). Been feeling a bit down since moving away from Edinburgh after living there for so long and spending my childhood there. I plan to go back eventually, just need to get everything back together and figure things out before moving back. It is a very good place to raise a family I believe.
It is... and it's funny to see Cameron Toll mentioned in a CS2 vid's comments! Now there's a signature building... LOL. But of course a great park next to it and my own cricket ground.
I wouldn't worry about the different terrain heights, if you look at around Meadowbank, peirshill to Duddingston (Where I used to live), the houses going up hill towards Arthur's seat are up and down. My Garden had a sudden drop behind the bushes, and sometimes you walk down the street you would find houses above the roads, for example some houses on the A1 road up to Porty High and past Hollyrood High.
As a nod to Edinburgh there's a ton of great stuff in there (aye, way too many trees but it's not _actually_ Edinburgh). The castle you've put in and forested around is actually pretty close to Craigmillar Castle (about 1½mi from Edinburgh Castle). The 3D nature of Edinburgh is difficult for CS2 but nice job. Rail... LOL... All that freight traffic? Yeah, you know where that goes? Past Craigmillar Castle on the South Edinburgh Loop... so where that highway runs basically, and the passenger traffic then runs into Waverley (a 20-platform station for those that don't know the city, sunk 15m below the main shopping street with two major bridges over the top, a mid level bus section, there used to be taxi parking inside the train station, and the trams run along the top on Princes St... a challenge for CS2 LOL)
Great build, I know you're doing an Edinburgh style build. I wouldn't be concerned about having the stage by the castle as that area normally has a stage due to the Edinburgh Tattoo.
Hi dylan! Idk if u tried it out already (didnt seem to see anything on the channel) but there's this new REALLY cool game called "tiny glade" i would HIGHLY recommend it for you! I have spent hours every day for the past few weeks playing it and im in love!
ver nice city, and nice design, like it,but why smoothing terrain everywhere, this not natural and not realistic ,all players remove cliffs, thats made it un naturel ,Italy ,malta, and greece a big example off cities on cliffs. but you design is brillant 👍👍👍👍👍

Edinburgh is a wonderful place to dig up Dinosaur DNA, Dr. Dylan.
Oh how we can't wait to see the new awe-inspiring exhibition on Isla Pena.

The city is beautiful especially when, French, German and UK pack fused to the city, keep continue❤
I've been waiting to see an Edinburgh inspired build with the UK Pack. 🍿

I like how he is pronouncing Edinburgh correctly unlike most American people. Most of them say Edinburg don't know why they say that. 😂
Hes Irish though so he probs knows how to pronounce it 😂
