It's actually pretty rare to see Bill discussing subjects, rather than doing his material. It's the weirdest thing, he was a brilliant, hard-working comic, but when he did interviews, he would tend to just do his material. He's still doing it here, but at least there's a bit more discussion going on.
I mean to be fair, I think that's something a lot of standup comedians did/do. I've seen a lot of interviews with comics where they're just doing what my friend calls "armchair standup"; the host lobs them a setup, and the comic uses the question to just do a bit. I agree that I prefer to see them actually relax and just answer questions as themselves, but I guess it's been a way to plug their act over the years.
@@TheMidnightPhil I agree, but what I mean by being surprised is because of the TYPE of comedian he was, and how he felt about hacky comedy tropes. I understand it's the way it was and is usually done, but I would have expected him to be a bit resistant to that.
Dude! The visual glitchery stuff is actually picking up on spiritual resonance stuff, notice how it goes up and down with Bills apparent inner vibration as he speaks? It changes with his emotion basically or state of consciousness.. super trippy
Yo i just realized thx to your comment that that whole visual glitchery thing is actually their spiritual resonance, listen to bill deeply when he talks and consider that and youll see it too hopefully anyways c:

Bill Hicks was angry because he gave a shit about this world.

Bill is creative. It is sad that he says that no one else was talking about his ideas...

Can't imagine what Hicks would have thought about Bush Jr., much less Trump.
He would have hated them just as much as Obama and Biden.
@@joelbarishHardly, he wasn't into false equivalents.
@@thenavajoknow so your saying that biden and obama aren't war pigs like the rest of them?
@@thenavajoknow actually trump didnt start any wars. At least he has that going for him 😉
