I had setbacks in my life as well.. still have but I have been praying to god everyday and it feels good. I just have to discipline myself and really work on focusing on myself right now. It was a strange time especially because I had/have so much to grateful for, but everything was a little bittersweet; so I starting losing my focus, but God caught me real quick. Like inheriting a house in France, but losing the person I loved so much; my earthly covering. Discipline comes easy when you understand your why, and remember that we should "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people." Col 3:23.

The same way our parents didn't give us everything to avoid spoiling us, God is a good Father and does the same. One of the things we all have to realize is that spiritual fruit is what remains, not temporal things. God is going to make sure He cultivates fruit, character, ENDURING and eternal things in us... the physical stuff can't go with us but the qualities that prove we're His kids will. Great video!

The key limes are a game changer! And your mom was planting seeds.. you just had to be able to receive what she was telling you. It all takes time but now you understand why she told you that about music and what you feed into your mind. When I was commuting to work, I would switch out music sometimes for a podcast or more uplifting music. I would get like 30 minutes of knowledge or an uplifting message before I even got to work.
I totally relate to what you were saying about music and working out. It's like how can I wake up praying and listening to God, reading his word, etc. but then when I go for my run, get motivated by Three Six? I had an epiphany like that makes no sense lol I clearly can't relate to anything they're talking about yet it "gets me going" so to speak. I can tell myself, "oh maybe it's just the beats" but either way it wasn't good for me. New here btw, awesome channel!

Man, there’s so many things I look back on in my life and know it was God preparing me for things today. And God’s love has been so unwavering through it all. I love God man :)
