It absolutely amazes me that GETCHA! got more views this week comparing to last week this late in its release lifespan. What a monster cover by Suisei & Calli
This is the third week of October. Most of the songs did not drop in views, and some songs had a major rise in views, which is very good. Okayu and Suisei had a general rise, which makes sense since Okayu had a new cover and Suisei had a concert. Iofi’s cover sadly did not chart, making it the third solo cover to do so? And fun fact, that Roboco cover is the oldest available cover from Hololive ever, excluding image songs. It was Manji-Gumi who had a hard time, well except Shion, but that has been true lately. New covers did not do so well, only 3 of the 7 covers charting in the top 10. And that meant Calli duo’s were able to nab the top spots, GETCHA with a big rise… presumably from the double swell of Calli’s covers back in circulation. 500K is still one to beat. Another official cover, who might be able to beat that 500K limit, and another Okochama Sensou from the second most famous HoloPro duo, Ollie and Astel. And there is a AZKi duo cover as well, but that will also not be near the chart, so that’s that, and later! P.S. Moona, if you are watching this, your Villain cover might be in the Top 100 Overall VTuber covers pretty soon… and that will be the second ID song on that list.

Not undermining every new cover and original song there are but that's just how it is

@@BakedConjurer5 No bro, he meant the one between 11 and 10. Iofi's cover the song last week and for a week she only reach over 30k views. That's why is sad, she didn't get enough attention Ollie's getting on an ID song cover, even though that song reflect on her so much.

It's more because it's both Calli and Gura (and how they made their voices fit in this song), and the cover is extremely fun (as in, they're having fun with the song, putting an enormous amount of ham into it, more than trying to go with the "kinda cool/domineering" vibe it usually has). That gives enough new life into the song to make it really stand out, IMO, above all other KING covers in hololive so far, only Suisei matching it because of..."how she puts her presence into the song"? something along those lines, the standout in it being the way she does the chorus and how she holds that last note and raises it so nicely. And thanks to the popularity of KING + the popularity of both Calli and Gura + how stupidly fun the cover is, it has this many views this far in. Rather, I kinda expected it to be more of a novelty that would have dropped farther down by now, but the more I hear it the more I get that, just by virtue of being fun, it has this much staying power.
@@PhanTuan2212 If that was the case, you'd see both Kiara x Gura's AKITOBA and her and God's cover of Sorairo Days up in the top 50, too. A shame, because AKITOBA is one of the cutest damn covers I've ever seen and makes me tear up every time I listen to it. IIRC, it dropped out of the top 50 within a few weeks, but I could be wrong. Sorairo Days did stay around a few months, though. Gura hasn't had a solo cover yet, to my knowledge, and her only Solo is also her only original. But she does really, really well in her duo covers, so maybe that's just her place in the singing world, at least for covers? We'll see when / if she does a solo cover.
Ojou's cover manages to have a consistent 400-500k view/week for 4+ months. It started falling around Sept. Let's see if CaliGura king can keep 400-500k until Dec. (Its been 2 mo. since it was released)

It’s STILL Calli and Gura’s cover of KING, and it’s not even close. It’s unreal how much that song just keeps going and going.
Because it has Gura's nametag in it. Honestly, for over 3.5M subs that pace is even slow.

It's more because it's both Calli and Gura (and how they made their voices fit in this song), and the cover is extremely fun (as in, they're having fun with the song, putting an enormous amount of ham into it, more than trying to go with the "kinda cool/domineering" vibe it usually has).
That gives enough new life into the song to make it really stand out, IMO, above all other KING covers in hololive so far, only Suisei matching it because of..."how she puts her presence into the song"? something along those lines, the standout in it being the way she does the chorus and how she holds that last note and raises it so nicely.
And thanks to the popularity of KING + the popularity of both Calli and Gura + how stupidly fun the cover is, it has this many views this far in. Rather, I kinda expected it to be more of a novelty that would have dropped farther down by now, but the more I hear it the more I get that, just by virtue of being fun, it has this much staying power.
@@PhanTuan2212 If that was the case, you'd see both Kiara x Gura's AKITOBA and her and God's cover of Sorairo Days up in the top 50, too.
A shame, because AKITOBA is one of the cutest damn covers I've ever seen and makes me tear up every time I listen to it. IIRC, it dropped out of the top 50 within a few weeks, but I could be wrong. Sorairo Days did stay around a few months, though.
Gura hasn't had a solo cover yet, to my knowledge, and her only Solo is also her only original. But she does really, really well in her duo covers, so maybe that's just her place in the singing world, at least for covers? We'll see when / if she does a solo cover.
Lol Gura can murder this list she just doesn't want to standout too much based on what I've seen in her every karaoke streams✌️🤣

Ojou's cover manages to have a consistent 400-500k view/week for 4+ months. It started falling around Sept. Let's see if CaliGura king can keep 400-500k until Dec. (Its been 2 mo. since it was released)
