"If, on any subsequent occasion, i instruct you to ascend via the stairway, I implore you to ascend via the stairway!" - Professor Nicholas Cutter.
Stumbled on a copy in my local charity shop - couldn't believe my luck! The chapter where he climbs the newly constructed Eiffel Tower to deal with "ghastly invertebrates" is a high point, although the twist ending where the French police eat them in a garlic sauce is dated by today's standards.
Still, worth looking out for a copy
me i am the french i would absolutely do that
OMG THIS SOUNDS SO COOL

hey wait a minute
1907 - 1911
pretty clever
Oh you caught on to that? 😏
Read it many many times, love the stuff! Would recommend the kindle version!
Is it read by Kenneth Branagh or David Jason?
@The Great Primeval Show actually it's read by Nigel Marven and Robert Winston in tandem
Wait. What’s Cutter’s Bestiary?
This is a prank? I couldn't find anything about this
