Lennox Lewis to me the greatest heavyweight of all time, this man had everything he was a master of the ring, I’ve never seen a fight where he slapped he always landed punches with his knuckles, for a man of his size he had it all, so glad I was around to watch all his televised fights, the man was the master 🥊🥊🥊

Definitely the best of his era and right up there at the top of the tree with the all time greats

That's a big no! He had great reach with his jab and a glass jaw. He got knocked out by Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall. Earnie Shavers would have put him to sleep as well.

@@Gamevetglass jaw? So Tyson, Holyfield & Ruddock had pillow-hands, huh 🤡?
Lewis lost to 2 men who he stupidly underestimated, because they were nowhere near his level so he didn’t take them seriously. The McCall rematch was just weird, but he showed the difference in the Rahman rematch, didn’t he?

I remember watching the fight vs Big John Tate as a v young lad on ITV world of Sport on a Saturday afternoon hosted by Dickie Davies. My old Granddad loved Boxing and we used to sit round every Saturday, then watch the Rugby League with Eddie Waring jabbering away.

39 is the new 29. Look at Fury, Usyk, AJ and Klitschko. All in the late 30s early 40s, still fighting strong and most importantly their mind still with them.

Always backed Lewis from early on in his career and was really surprised at how many of my friends in England disliked him at that time.
    They were all Tyson fans!

There's no doubt that Briggs was a fighter with a lot of heart, and I always thought Lewis often took too many chances in many of his fights. His defense could have been a lot better.

Lennox was a fantastic boxer and I have him in my top 5...with the Brown Bomber, Joe Louis as my #1 pick.
Had the tax man left Joe alone...his record would have been 58 and 1...!
He STILL has the longest continuous heavy weight title holder at darn near 12 years with 25 title defenses...22 by knockout.

This is pure BS. Weaver had been KOed 9 times NINE times before he fought Lewis. He looks like Lewis who starved for 2 months here. Pass... Lewis dodges Foreman, Bowe and anyone who can give him trouble ALL the time.
