Would you say this is your new favorite topper? I love following you and seeing different topper brands. My biggest “want” from a topper is the most realistic scalp and part possible along with hair quality 😊
If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the best of the best in my opinion 🙌🏼 I love so many different pieces but for different reasons. This is one of my top pieces for sure 👍🏼
Hi again - gorgeous! this is just like the Highline topper (no shed or tangle & dries straight). I’ve had my original for 1.5 years and have been wearing daily. Still looks gorgeous! What did you use to wash it to keep it so soft?
What company / topper would you recommend for bangs (huge forehead) and natural looking scalp (especially because of the bangs? I used to go through Hair Direct for many years, but they went out of business this year and I need a new one like months ago. I appreciate your advice and your videos!
Hi Jewels! Any piece can have bangs cut into it. But if you want to recreate a hairline then a lace front is the best way to go. It will need to be glued or taped along the lace in the front. Check out www.silkorlace.com or www.uniwigs.com-they both have lace front options 🙌🏼
I have soft black hair, I worry about the root not looking natural. I bought one topper from a good brand, but the root was too light. Advice?
Can you recommend the lightest weight lace topper? I live in the south and have naturally curly/frizzy hair and can’t find anything to match and is light enough for hot weather.

On you it looks like there's some volume on the top which I like...but the website they look really flat...is it possible to get more volume at the crown with these pieces?
Yes! You can’t get a ton of volume but styling it with volume like I did for this video helps a ton 🙌🏼

This one is definitely the cream of the crop! It’s high in quality and virgin hair. It is a silk top construction cap the density is on the higher side.

Their construction is very similar yes. My lusta piece tangles a little less than my toss piece but toss is still great hair. I just think lusta is a step above for sure.

Does the topper have a name? Is it a full volume? Do they color match you?
They can definitely color match you! It’s an 8x8 inch cap size. They don’t have names other than the cap size, length, and color. When you go on their website, they have pieces in stock you can order but this specific piece might not be available. ☺️
Do you recommend Lusta or Dimples as a first topper? I’m torn between the two 😭
Depends completely on what your needs/preferences are. They’re both fantastic but like night and day when it comes to their specific characteristics. Lusta is going to be a much sleeker hair texture and a heavier cap than the Dimples which has a fluffier texture and lighter weight cap 🤗
My hair genetically are very fine and breaking off and not growing….terrible situation, especially for special occasions- I always look like I didn’t care about my updo🥲 today finally placed an order with Lusta hair and super excited!!! Your video really helped to make this expensive decision!

Depends on the piece. Higher density pieces like this one-about every 2 months. Lower density pieces-about every 2-3 weeks 👍🏼

I purchased a different brand of topper. But the hairline area is very thick to me. It doesn't look natural, and it looks like I have a bubble head. It's a mono top and feels heavy. The one you're showing doesn't look thick in the front. I cant return it. I can only exchange it. :(

Do you find the Lusta to be better than the Dimples?
Hi Serena! They’re both amazing companies. They’re also both very different. ☺️ Lusta carries silk toppers(a realistic scalp with more hair) Dimples carries a variety of cap constructions that are still realistic with less hair). I hope that helps! They both have great hair quality.

I have 2 lustas (one I’ve never worn) and I don’t think the quality compares to Highline, just my opinion. They use textile dyes too which I’m not a fan of.

Why is buyn a topper so confusing?what's even more infuriating is the wig suppliers I will get my medical wig from can't give you constructive advice, contradictory topper sizes confuses me even more.
I’m sorry it’s so confusing. There are no real regulations in this industry so every company is a little different and there’s just not that much education out there about the differences.
