Petition for Scout Forsythe to have a RUclips channel...
I’d be *very* surprised if Scout has time for a RUclips channel, but if she did, I would jump right on the bandwagon. 😊
@@karianne1970 haha I know! I was thinking ballet vlogs
I would love it so much!!
I would like to see how her apartment is decorated, her beauty routine, diet, basically her life lol.
@@CarlaLR74 that's a good one! Id want to see how she got such amazing/strong feet!!
Tell me why I thought she literally meant she wears a lot of hats and expected the bag to be full of hats
Well, you're not alone. I was wondering why she even mentioned the hats as she wouldn't need them for rehearsels lol
Thats what I thought too lol
SAME
Dude same

Someone needs to create a longer lasting pointe shoe. It’s ridiculous how much they cost.
Or reduce the price. Dancers have to be able to break in their pointe shoes, so I don't know how easy it would be to make something that lasts longer since they are meant to break down a bit.
The cost is because they are all handmade, and since she is with a company they pay for them. There are options for longer lasting pointe shoes, but most ballerinas prefer traditional shoes.
Gaynor mindens are a great option they last me about 5 monthes but i only do abot 5 hours a week and they are about 140$
To be honest: They last a long time if you aren’t a professional dancer. If you are in middle and high school and you get pointe shoes they last a long time because you are dancing 3- 4hours a day for lets say 6 days a week if that. Professional dancers dance 15 hours a day, 6 days a week maybe more. They are using them more so they wear down faster. The upside honestly is that usually companies will have the girls sign their shoes, donate them/auction them off for charities or fundraisers for scholarships.
Ballet companies provides free pointe shoes for their dancers :)
Is no one going to talk about how big that bag is and how much it holds
Or, how she manages a 7 hr workout on one banana, some water and coconut alone ???
@@jeanettecook1088 I’m sure she eats more than that, they usually get a lunch break. I think she meant that’s just the snacks she keeps around. I keep snacks in my dance bag but as far as actual food I always go and get something on breaks
I know right?
Exactly omg 😆
My bag is that big.......... dancers hold a lot of unnecessary things to “normal” people 😂
the fact that Scout looks stunning without makeup is unreal
Ikr
Yass
@RUclipsLoser lol what? They were complimenting her appearance :/ why are you so angry
She is yes, beautiful.
Most ppl look better without makeup.
I'm pretty sure she used Hermione's charm on that bag to hold all the stuff.
Definitely!!!! 💖
@Fayth Osborn Beauxbatons? :)
Yes
Her feet are perfect! They don't look like ballerina's feet at all. She must take really good care of them
This idea that ballerinas foot are ugly and bruised is not true. The foot is one of the main parts of a dancers body, we have to take good care of it.
I was so relieved by that.
I'm not a ballet dancer and have only ever seen the feet of ballerinas in movies/tv series. And they always show them to have crippled looking toes and possibly even loosing nails.
I'm very relieved to learn, that's not the inevitable fate of every successful ballerina.
i disagree, my feet are pretty gross, especially right after practice, but i agree that it doesn’t happen to everyone, and that her feet are amazing
I was thinking about that, but she is probably also lucky with genetics.
My feet are really well compared to some dancers but people still comment that my feet are janky. (I’m a dancer)
She looks sooo healthy. What a fantastic role model she is for young dancers.
everyone: She is so pretty and talented!
Me: wow. her legs look soooo smooth
Omg yesss her legs go )
Omg I thought the same thing
Yes
I’m not a ballerina but I have a job where I’m on my feet for 8-9-10 hours a day and lord these tips are helpful!!!
Same, I'm on my feet for 10+ hours 😭 having good shoes is crucial!
Yep same here. Grocery store worker and i am on my feet either just standing or walking around helping customers. I average about 30,000 steps per day thanks to working in an absolute gigantic supermarket. My legs and feet always hurt so much at the end of the day. I can’t wait to try out these stretches and exercises
@@audrey9561 They help and so does anything that strengthens your core. Back problems are common for those who stand a lot. I'm a teacher and I think half of department has had severe back problems. Orthotics also help but get a physical therapist to help with your gait.
Also? Thank you for keeping us all going during the pandemic. It's much appreciated and not thanked often enough...so THANK YOU !! 💞
so we're not gonna talk abt how perfect her archers are overall but most i her jumps???
I don't do ballet but It makes me happy
Edit:Woah almost 1k likes
as it should
I danced for nearly 10 years. Not professional. Now I am out since 15 years. It is just fun to watch
It's never too late to start!!
@@delphine5260 but I am not flexible I mean I can reach for my toes but I can't go all the way down on my splits. I have the least flexible back and arch I don't have ballet schools in my town.
@@btsnaesarang3839 but flexibility takes training, practice, and time! it's okay if you aren't at first, but with dedication, it's highly possible that you can do it!
If you'd asked me to guess this woman's profession, I would have said surfer. She just looks like a surfer to me!
And look, her notebook has surfboards on it!
I'm pretty sure she is a surfer :) (I follow her on instagram)
I saw suffer first 😂🤣
Scout is the reason I watch Glamour videos
YES
“When I’m not dancing I let them do with they do “🤣 I’m letting my armpits do with they do right now
Amen ! Her confidence about that is super refreshing because Not shaving or arm pit hairs honestly isn't that big of a deal. I do the same thing unless I absolutely have to because it is just hair and it isn't really going to hurt anyone Also for some people if they are constantly shaving they get really bad ingrown hairs that can turn into MRSA if ur shaving daily!
It’s such a shame the audio quality on this video is so bad:/
I thought I was going crazy hahaha
Probably due to social distancing.
Fr
Right it's so baad, i thought it was my phone's fault
THANK YOU. It's making me want to bash something against the wall.😖
I used to be a ballerina and ohhhhhh the tennis ball!!!! It always feels SOOOOO good on tired feet. Watching this brought back memories thanks :D
The fact that they mentioned that scout uses arnica gel and cbd balm before using her gua sha made me laugh bc of all the comments under her morning beauty routine
I was gonna comment the same thing Lolol
I noticed that too hahahaha
The comments were complaining that she used the gua sha on dry skin? 🤨 I'm not sure which video it was and I'm curious.
@@JudyCZ it's the 'ballerinas 10 Minute morning makeup routine'
@@JudyCZ gua sha has ZERO permanent benefit in all its literature. I mean, its helpful as a vehicle to massage when your fingers give out, but it doesn't provide anti-aging benefit or anything.
It’s refreshing to see a ballerina with a healthy body. And her energy and vibes are gold.
Love how organized she is and how effortless her narration is. Please do more videos 😍😍
The smile on this girl wow
She is so informative, positive and fun to listen to!
She is absolutely beautiful and seems so down to earth...I could watch her all day!
I love her explaining ballet things 🥰
Ooo, totally gonna buy toe spacers for my feet for after I spend hours in my climbing shoes, which also scrunch up the toes into a point! Thank you for the advice!! ^_^ I've never done ballet and probably never will, but the crossover with climbing (stretches, muscle recovery, etc. - is actually why I watch Scout's videos♡)
Ima rock climber too
I actually use toe pads and spacers even though I’m only 10
So that bag.....it’s a TARDIS??? Wow!!
what's in my ballerina bag: frozen hand sanitizer and spilled popcorn
Don’t forget the ten thousand Bobby pins just chillin there
@@natalielovesflowers yep i do ballet to and i always have 3 or 4 floating arond because i have a box for my bobby pins
seven hours on pointe a DAY.... i get 30 minutes on pointe a week and 1 hour a week of ballet along with like four or five other classes.... that tires me out, i cant imagine seven hours a week on pointe. also, i couldnt imagine going through a whole pair of shoes every THREE DAYS. you go girl i know that must be tiring
Who else has watched her hair grow out? lol
Me lol
It grows so fast 😝
@@scoutforsythe1786 I wish mine grew that fast
Scout inspired me to start ballet
I’ve never seen someone take such good care of their toes!😂
Scout is a delight
This gets a thumbs up purely on the principle that I love ballet.
She’s so passionate about her job
I have known and seen KT tape for YEARS and NEVER understood it until now despite asking for explanations 😅 Thank you!!
The more I learn about Pointe shoes, the more I am amazed😳💕
I do ballet, I’m only 13, and have only done it for 3 out of 6 years of my dance career. I’ve seen some things that go into professional dancers bags. But jeez your bag is so small!!
Our Scout, once again. Just love her 💙
She is so relatable and down to earth! More Scout videos!!!
A while ago I saw a video kinda like this with her in it as well! I'm not a dancer nor do I want too but this is so great to watch! Love her personality!
She does have a great personality.
Now I want to go back to my ballet rehearsals but we’re on break 😭
Same T^T
Thera bands are another amazing must have. Physio therapist used them regularly through recovery in process of healing.
Out if habit and necessity I too carry a similar bag with what I call a healthy on your feet essentials
she’s such an amazing dancer and i love how real and positive she is!
I just had the chance to meet her after one of ABT’s shows and I have to say, she’s just as sweet in person as she seems
As an athlete(lacrosse) I can say KT tape works, I have an ankle injury, so it is constantly stressed and hurting. I use KT tape and put it on before every game. There are different types of variations of how you tape your muscles. I recommend going on RUclips to find the perfect way to use it., trust me it works
I can't believe nobody invented longer lasting ballet shoes yet.
I mean she is a professional, and she is on them all day. Usually if you go for some lessons during the week they will last much longer.
@@KittyCat-dp2lc Still, there are a lot of professionals out there and all of them needing new shoes every other day is absurd. You would think somebody would invent something more lasting.
@@lauralanthalasa7 yeah ur right
Someone did. Gaynor Mindens last a lot longer and basically do not require as much breaking in since they come in different states and customizations for dancers.
@@gfhkkhfg6905 Well yes but they are like the most expensive brand and they don't suit everyone
I love love LOVE when she does videos! I always learn something new. Her tips for muscle repair is so wonderful just for the every day exerciser.
Would love to see more of her!
She explained it so well and so simple in a short time ! All the credit to the sport and her 🌸🌸
Ooooh, Scout's back! Amazing!
Scout yesss I love seeing her in videos🥰🥰
so interesting , these girls are so tough
When she stretches each little toe... OH MAN! So much strength training and tuning ❤️
Yes! She needs her own channel… l just love her! She is soooo amazing! Love this info too!!♥️🕉🌸☮️💕🥰
The sound isn't really good but it's interesting to see what a dancer needs everyday 👍🏼👍🏼
her arches and jumps are so goooood
Scout is amazing!! Love her!!!!
Excellent, Scout..
Thank you for posting ,
I'm looking forward to more of your posts ...
Very helpful
I'm always happy to see Scout! I wish she had her own youtube channel.
I love watching Scout dance or talk about dancing! 💜🩰 I had to pause the video for a sec at the 11:20 mark, & I thought she had a sucker in her mouth while practicing. Lol ..I thought, "Well, you go girl!" 😂
I really enjoy these types of sports videos. Btw she is really good
Yesss I love these videos keep them coming
THE BANANA that’s the most essential one😂
Thanks so much, this info is also great for us 'mature ' students as well !
Motivates me more to do ballet! Ive gotten lazy since quarintine
as a runner I can totally relate to the recovery part lol
Not a ballet dancer over here but I am a waitress and a lot of the muscle recovery part seems very helpful for me as well. Will try that out for sure! 😸
Toe spacers are the best and a necessity for when taking time off your feet. I have an older contraption/device that helps pull your large toe out and allowing smaller toes to spread.
Toe rescue is key
I love Scout!
She needs a youtube channel of her own like I love her!
Can you make a video demonstrating the foot strengthening exercises Scout does?
Yesssss she's back!!!
I love Scout!
she has such amazing arches!!!
I knowwwww! My arches are above average I guess but I am trying to do exercises everyday to get feet like hers’
This was extremely helpful 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 learned so much
I’m new to ballet 🩰 and I didn’t know what to put in my bag and I watched this vid a million times and luckily I have most of these things 😊 now watching it for the third time fifth time watching a month later I’m still watching this second time watching this today well doing homework 📄
She's baaaaaack ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love this video!! So many great tips! I am going to use them❤️❤️
This was super helpful for me even not as a ballet dancer. Definitely going to get some of those muscle products!
Scout is one of my absolute favourite people (celebrities) talented dancers EVER!!
I am always impressed that all dancers customize / destroy their beautiful new pointes with cutters, glue, tapes , knives, pencils or gum balls.
Ok that hack about the toe spreaders was amazing my new favourite thing
This was very interesting; thank you. I was especially intrigued by the muscle recovery 'tools'.
A year later and this is still my fav video on YT!
I love this! My bouldering bag kinda looks like this
I’ve never seen anyone else who uses tiger balm. It is my salvation. I go through vats of the stuff. That burn is so good.
Awesome , thank you
Just learning someone's approach to things really helps ..😁
Very good teacher!
I've been using Meow Meow Tweet cream and stick deodorants for years! Love them and their lip balm.
I totally understand this because I take ballet and tap so we have to be prepared before performance starting and everything we stretch takes pics and then go into performance once we are ready
Her: you don’t need to wear hairnets for rehearsal
My ballet teacher: I think not!!!
we need more of her
Her: uses a really fancy thing to get blood flow out of her legs
Me: laying in bed with my legs literally in the air
That's a yoga pose. Really, waterfall pose I think. If you Google, they can show you tips to make it more effective. You were a yogi and you didn't even know it!!!
@@SlpBeauty333 OH hahahah omg it isss that’s so funny
@@amyb7754 Laughter is good! Waterfall pose is more than just putting your legs up. Generally it's best with some pillows under your hips and then you scoot over to get your butt next to the wall. Gravity, it's a good thing!!
I go to dance class and am already in my outfit and hair up and walk in put on my 🩰 ballet shoes in the class boom I start dancing 💃
I love youuuuu, Scout😍😍😍
Thanks for the tips and tricks
I love these videos!
The banana throw 😂😂😂
When I broke my 5th metatarsal, a cold spacer was AMAZINGGG
I thoroughly enjoyed this! Granddaughter just got her first point shoes so it gave me some perspective. Thank you!
That was great, Scout! You’re an Ace! A RUclips channel would be great; I’d watch!
