I was thinking about that. If you listen carefully to the ending dialogue in 3-X, they mention that Mrs. Stevenson can't remember him [Mr. Stevenson]. That's very likely to come up in the future, and I agree that her music is suspiciously somber for the situation.
The "Wi-FI Virus" is the definition of "Close your eyes and focus...Feel the rhythm...Your eyes will try to overwhelm you, and your ears will do their best to disorientate you...But if you just focus and *FEEL* the true rhythm...Everything will be ok...Keep your heart calm...And focus...". It's SO fun to play along to that, by flicking a finger to the rhythm, or slamming your hand on a blanket or something. Very empowering. :D

Super impressive. I'll never get S+ on every level, but I'll be happy to get them on just a few! This game is the BEST. Also, Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) is a thing I've experienced personally and -- aside from being a fine Super Hexagon reference -- that stage is one of the best representations of how scary a PSVT event can be... heart going 140-180 BPM for minutes at a time, and then the normal rhythm feels super slow.
FACT: If you restart Super Battleworn Insomaniac many times, Ian says "Do I always have to sound suprised?" Then Ada says "Yes, now stop whining Ian." Then Ian says "A relapse?" Also if you restart, instead of a loading screen, it just flashes and goes straight into the level.
Also fact: In level 3-X, at the very last line of the song, if you take too long to press the button, Richard Hugh will appear and tell you to hurry before pressing the button for you after a bit.

I don't know whether or not I should be proud I immediately knew 4-4 was Andrew Huang. Love his music and I'm glad to see it represented in such a great game.
Anything involving the Stevenson couple has some of the most lovely music in this game, to me. I love the hard driving beats of some of the other pieces, but the reflective, melancholic notes of the Stevensons hit me on a personal level somehow.
Yeah, I wanted to avoid perfecting that one song. But I made myself play it anyway and not perfect it. Irregular time hurts my head. I was counting the fastest I’ve ever counted and I perfected it. It was still hell. Perfecting Super Battleworn Insomniac is gonna be one time thing for me.

16:49 I really can relate to this song I am a 15yo kid and I go to school and my god when I get all of the things that make me happy taken away as motivation, then after that still have them taken away it just sucks. I know myself better than anyone and how my parents parent does not work with me, it makes me feel like I'm never enough. I will be passing all of my classes some just barely but I have always gotten them up the last time I got a c was in 6th grade I am a freshman now. I just feel like whatever I do, someone has already done it better, and faster. I have 2 older brothers who are very smart and look like they know what they are doing, both are becoming engineers. My oldest brother is like the top 10 in his class and my brother said he hated it and has now changed what engineering he is doing. I only have 2 things that make me a lot happier and one very reliant one has been taken away so I have not felt the best, and I was not doing too hot before that either so I am more afraid that I will collapse because I don't show how I feel if I'm sad so if I ever do I don't know what will happen. I think it is common for people who are depressed to just be very scared at showing themself because I can take hurtful words from anyone other than the people who I am true to, so I don't know how to tell my parents how I feel. Because they say all happiness doesn't come from video games, or basically any at all so I don't know how to tell them that it does because I have other things that I only tell a few people and I think I should tell them, but I just have no way. So I just needed to tell someone who can't judge me because my friends would be fine but I only really have one friend that I feel could help me. Something I noticed is, that a few songs got a bit more "simplified" On the Act 1 boss are the effects during the event not that extreme anymore. Some of the screen glitches have been replaced with a long static. And 2-3 is that long coffee scene with 9+ smaller too (Or at least it feels like that)
i think they extended 1-X with the long static part, i see it in some playthroughs but i dont in others. Maybe its when you miss more hits the virus dies slower and you have to do more??

I was so invested in listening to All the Times and admiring how cool it sounded that I didn't even notice Connectifia Abortus was present until Ian mentioned it after the song.
I'm not saying it's the easiest level, but it actually was the only that I clicked with first before even the earlier labels. Real shit, Insomniac daytime was legit the first and only level I perfected for a long time. I don't think it deviates even once from the beat except maybe once at the very end. The visuals and audio glitches are just a distraction. Keep trying if you haven't gotten it yet! Try closing your eyes. That's how I got it 😌

I really can relate to this song I am a 15yo kid and I go to school and my god when I get all of the things that make me happy taken away as motivation, then after that still have them taken away it just sucks. I know myself better than anyone and how my parents parent does not work with me, it makes me feel like I'm never enough. I will be passing all of my classes some just barely but I have always gotten them up the last time I got a c was in 6th grade I am a freshman now. I just feel like whatever I do, someone has already done it better, and faster. I have 2 older brothers who are very smart and look like they know what they are doing, both are becoming engineers. My oldest brother is like the top 10 in his class and my brother said he hated it and has now changed what engineering he is doing. I only have 2 things that make me a lot happier and one very reliant one has been taken away so I have not felt the best, and I was not doing too hot before that either so I am more afraid that I will collapse because I don't show how I feel if I'm sad so if I ever do I don't know what will happen. I think it is common for people who are depressed to just be very scared at showing themself because I can take hurtful words from anyone other than the people who I am true to, so I don't know how to tell my parents how I feel. Because they say all happiness doesn't come from video games, or basically any at all so I don't know how to tell them that it does because I have other things that I only tell a few people and I think I should tell them, but I just have no way. So I just needed to tell someone who can't judge me because my friends would be fine but I only really have one friend that I feel could help me. So if you are reading this you either skipped or read that whole thing, so hi, if you can drop any advice on some help any is lovely. 😅

Something I noticed is, that a few songs got a bit more "simplified"
On the Act 1 boss are the effects during the event not that extreme anymore. Some of the screen glitches have been replaced with a long static. And 2-3 is that long coffee scene with 9+ smaller too (Or at least it feels like that)
i think they extended 1-X with the long static part, i see it in some playthroughs but i dont in others. Maybe its when you miss more hits the virus dies slower and you have to do more??
@@xela953because there's a virus health bar, if you don't get the full combo then the health bar doesn't reach 0 in time, making the song extend with static
The composers are insane in this game, every song is so beautiful and I almost teared up at basically every boss song.

I had this playing in the background and had to switch over because the video started stuttering during Super Battleworn Insomniac for absolutely no reason. There was even a grey part to the video bar.

I thought that the game pulled no punches on its distractions for the first boss, and then I saw what Super Battleworn Insomniac is like

Insomniac is actually very easy if you count the heart beats in your head or just sing the song like it was before the wifi virus jammed the song
I'm not saying it's the easiest level, but it actually was the only that I clicked with first before even the earlier labels. Real shit, Insomniac daytime was legit the first and only level I perfected for a long time. I don't think it deviates even once from the beat except maybe once at the very end. The visuals and audio glitches are just a distraction. Keep trying if you haven't gotten it yet! Try closing your eyes. That's how I got it 😌

ALSO a discovery from a beat its not used in the game i found used in cole´s fir st treatment, its used on samurai yk that part of he controls one just focus on your patient,lets focus on the new beat then now.
Its a strange one,you click space and then it backs away one space, idk if it IS a glitched beat or another unused beat tho,but idk if it helped so like it it did ;)
It's a Custom Beat. It just moves with the Song but since you don't Play it, you don't really need to pay any attention to it.
