    This machine features a 1.9-litre capacity boiler with a heat exchanger system. The thermosiphon group with mechanical pre-infusion and Wi-Fi capabilities will allow you to control the machine from your phone! The Cube is bumped up with a digital display and lets you select between the mainline or tank for water supply.
    The Cube comes with a heat exchanger system using the thermal-reliable E61 thermosiphon grouphead, the quality that you’d expect from a Sanremo machine. This allows you to steam your milk as your coffee brews so you can pour yourself a great cup of coffee quickly in the mornings, afternoons, or all day if you like.
    Nobody wants a home coffee machine that’s a pain to maintain. Part of the Sanremo Cube’s design is easy to access to the main machine inside so cleaning won’t feel like such a chore. The drip tray is removable and adjustable legs help get the perfect height for cleaning under too.
    The Cube’s Wi-Fi connectivity lets your smartphone function as the coffee machine’s remote control. Using the app on your device, you’ll be able to switch the machine on or off, set the boiler temperature, manage water filtering and water levels, as well as access the stats for coffee and water consumption.

    The Cube!! Wish I could get my hands on one of these.

    Definitely a great machine, but very expensive as a HX machine. For the price or 3200$ I'd go for a Pro700, or A Bianca.

    • @nicbrownable
      @nicbrownable 2 года назад

      The price is on Australian dollars. The Linea Mini in Australia sells for AUD$7000+ when you can get them. The Decent is also around that mark after you have imported it and paid GST.

    • @slofty
      @slofty 2 года назад +1

      It's priced pretty reasonably in AUD$ when you factor in the smartphone app integration features.

    • @nicbrownable
      @nicbrownable 2 года назад +2

      The Legit Bianca is AUD$4400 in Australia. The Profitec 700 is AUD$4500. At $4600, the Sanremo Cube is pretty well priced vs the competition down here.
      The Bianca in particular is terrible value in Australia. It is a much better proposition at US prices. You can get a Bezzera Mitica HX with rotary pump for AUD$3600, or Isomac and Crem one dual boilers with rotary pump for $3600-3800. The Bianca is coasting on US hype, and should be $700-1000 less to represent good value in Australia.

      In Germany, they start at around 1.900 € for the stainless steel version, colors are available at about 2.400 €
      At this price point for the color versions, I prefer my stainless steel _ECM Synchronika_ - sorry guys… ;-)

    how many cups can it do per day if used commercially?

    • @AlternativeBrewing
      @AlternativeBrewing  6 месяцев назад +1

      50 - 100 / day would be okay - more so ... how close together are these. For example - if it's a take-away store - then rushes come in very small windows - and 100 coffees in 1 hr - it won't do, but if you'r a hair salon, and those 100 are gradually across the day - then yes No worries.

    Why not have a scale in the drip tray, since it has all of those WiFi features?

    • @AlternativeBrewing
      @AlternativeBrewing  2 года назад +1

      That's a great point! The Acaia Scales would be the obvious choice for this. There must be a barrier of some sort that stops many machine manufacturers integrating this in to their design, beyond price ... I don't know too many Home machines that have this feature - but would certainly help!

    Whoa the lack of pump noise. Are there any more affordable models in the Aus market with rotary or gear pumps?

    Have you ever heard of the "Outin Portable Mini Espresso Machine"? The product is on amazon and looks like a great alternative to the Wacaco brand. I believe the Outin is also all electric so there is no pumping needed. The Outin can pre heated water or will heat up the water for the espresso.

      I think this product would be great for hikers and campers, or even just for a more convenient small espresso maker!
