I was a part of the internet where disgusting shit took place when I was 13. At that time I thought it was funny or whatever and didn’t think too deep about it (I will not be disclosing what it is) but now 4 yrs later I understand the gravity of the shit I witnessed and even occasionally took part in and it’s disgusting as well as very insensitive to be a part of a community like that and practically encourage it. After all these years I understand what I had done wrong and actively try to prevent such things from happening again. All this took place in my life because of the lack of supervision, wrong influence and negligence from parents at such a young age. I can’t speak for everyone but I can and will say when you’re that young with no restrictions and what not you are bound to do stupid things. I’m glad Gigi is taking responsibility for her actions and that’s how it should be for everyone who took part in negative things as a kid.

There’s a difference between smoking a cig and getting into fights, versus having an ongoing pattern of behavior that actively harms those around you. “Typical 14 year old behavior” includes stuff like being angsty and having an attitude problem. I was a part of the internet where disgusting shit took place when I was 13. At that time I thought it was funny or whatever and didn’t think too deep about it (I will not be disclosing what it is) but now 4 yrs later I understand the gravity of the shit I witnessed and even occasionally took part in and it’s disgusting as well as very insensitive to be a part of a community like that and practically encourage it. After all these years I understand what I had done wrong and actively try to prevent such things from happening again. All this took place in my life because of the lack of supervision, wrong influence and negligence from parents at such a young age. I can’t speak for everyone but I can and will say when you’re that young with no restrictions and what not you are bound to do stupid things. I’m glad Gigi is taking responsibility for her actions and that’s how it should be for everyone who took part in negative things as a kid.

There’s a difference between smoking a cig and getting into fights, versus having an ongoing pattern of behavior that actively harms those around you. “Typical 14 year old behavior” includes stuff like being angsty and having an attitude problem. Not wanting to come up with a plan to accuse someone of SA bec u felt slighted. Do I think gigi’s life should be ruined? No, not at all. She still is 17, and I do think a scare like this will hopefully give her a chance to become a better person. But, I can’t blame people for not wanting to support her anymore, and yes her parents definitely need to get involved. I also think it’s fair that ownership of dti should be removed from her. I feel like people don't understand just how much can change about a person within just ONE year during childhood. It's no joke when it's said just how influential your childhood years are to the person you end up becoming. Speaking from experience, I know I was a pretty different person at 17 than I was at 16.
Someone being a minor does not escuse their shitty actions. They should be held accountable and apologize. And then afterwards what should be focused on is if that person is the same way now as they were back then. One year in childhood can change a person a lot. Imagine what could happen in 3-4 years. If Gigi has proven that she's grown and changed I don't think she should be labeled as a bad person, full stop. I feel like it was mainly just her parents fault for not watching over what their child is doing on the internet. As a 14 year old we do dumb shit, all the time, and i dont do as much because of how strict my parents are. What she did was wrong, but in the heat of things, especially when you are dealing with the hormones of being a teen, you do this dumb shit. "At 17, your still not fully mature but should know whats wrong and right" is halfway true, you should still know some of whats wrong ir right, but seeing how she acted as a 14 year old, it may just be that she might not realize its wrong, due to what might be bad parenting, alot of this seems very out of context as well.. it doesnt justify her actions, and i think that her apology seems truthful.
