After far too long a wait the SOAS is back.
The new v3 kit integrates ingenious use of 3D printed parts into the lightweight balsa / carbon tube structure. The design also now uses solid balsa elevons machined using our own designed tooling so we are not compromised on the airfoil shape.
The genius behind the 3D printed parts ensures accurate wing alignment and a super quick, super accurate build as the sweep angle of the main spar and 90 degree alignment of the wing joiner system.
Kits Contains:
High quality Laser cut balsa components
6mm Carbon tube main spars
3mm Carbon tube leading edge
5mm Carbon wing joiner
Aluminum wing joiner sleeves
Full sized printed plan (no need to join)
3D printed parts spru
High quality 6mm x 1.5mm Magnets for wing and fin joint
SOAS Poop Emoji decal
Optional wing bag.

Another excellent build video. Looking forward to watching the maiden flight. Some more tips on how to launch this thin wing would be greatly appreciated as my pathetic efforts at launching the Smash combat wing cause great hilarity up on the slope!!!

Shipping to USA for a kit is around $30. I ordered 5x7.5 APC props direct from the USA shipping was $30 for a padded bag and then I had to pay a further $40 in customs and handling charges.
