Maybe a dumb question, but wouldn't you want the chase car off to one side or the other, instead of directly behind you, so close, at that speed? So if you eat shlt, you don't instantly get cleaned up by the Dodge Neon doing 50mph, 10ft behind you?
What was your top speed and I know of a hill that is just as steep maybe even steeper that is way way longer it's Sheppards run in Russellville Arkansas
@@sr.pushbroom7257 I live in Florida and my fastest speed iv ever gotten on my own is 67mph Iv only skated in Florida my whole life except two months that I spent in the ozark mountains of Arkansas. This clip is of me here in Florid ......if I can figure out how to attach it to the message

I can't lie It scared the #$@& outta me and when you say 55 to 60 on a good day u say this like it's not unusual to hit this high of a speed. I tip my hat to you bro, cuz you are crazy. I still get a rush off of hitting 45mph and pulling a huge Coleman slide......lol
Steepest hill at my uni is 25%. It only goes for like 30 meters but my legs got smashed to fuck trying to bomb it. 18% for that distance is scary as hell 🤣
25% is Steep! The steepest one we have in Phoenix has a corner rated at almost 45% grade entering a left drift. 18% for roughly 1/2 mile is a quality thrill ride for sure!
You would be correct - this is Golden Eagle blvd in Fountain Hills AZ. A rigid (not flexy) top mount board with some caliber trucks or similar is a good board for DH, I ride for Black Longboards and currently running the Trident deck with Rogue trucks 50*/38* and Cloud Ride Storm Chasers
Nice, dude. Found this by trying to search downhill streets in Kauai, since I'm there visiting right now and brought my longboard. Is the push broom name related to using it in the past to help you slow down, lol? Because I've definitely done that, haha! Saved my butt a few times!

This is basically the perfect training hill. Wide open, plenty of visibility and an uphill runout at the end. Lucky, Utah doesn’t have such roads.
Utah has some EPIC stuff to skate tho! Wish i could make it back up there to skate lookout or beast again.

Great run. Lower your tuck a little, chest on knee and you will be flying. I also like the brake tuck myself.
