The legend of Doug the dog will continue long after your visit . He is the gate keeper for the park and is the reincarnation of a long line of animals who have guided travellers through the park and their lives in general .
Matt has some spectacular drone videos. He doesn’t think people have the patience to watch the long videos. I seen the ocean videos and I promised you it is fantastic. We should ask him to post separately with just music minimum edition.
There's a YT video about a dog like that. He leaves home in the mornings and goes to trail head and walks with hikers. At the end of the day he goes home. Owner had to post a note that he wasnt lost. People kept taking to a shelter.
Honestly, I like the diversity of your tours. Each country is different, with different cultures and different interactions. So I really don't understand any complaints about how this country vblogs are not the same as that other country's vblogs. Having your Vblog evolve and change with each country you visit is what I enjoy about your channel Matt. And I hope you tipped that dog well .
oh my goodness, those Keens are going through their paces. Love mine. Great shot over Kenting market at night time. I also think you are doing an amazing job. My trike was just put back together today. Perth awaits you,,, We will organize some fun things.
Love your drone shots. I really wanted to take my drone on the Appalachain Trail when I was hiking back in June, but alas it's not allowed. Would of made for some beautiful drone video. Have you run into a lot of problems flying drones on your travels?
1:46, this is a nice scenery. How about you take some High Definition photos of scenery that you come across, and share them with us. I would like to use them as my desktop wallpaper. Not sure if you sell them to Webshots.com
I have to keep adjusting my volume because you have the music overpowering you when you talk, it’s at a different volume level, so I have to keep my finger on the volume control. Urrr Sorry, just being honest. I only have seen a few channels that can keep their audio in sync at the same level so the music doesn’t overpower the volume level of your voice. Sometimes it’s hard to hear you too, as if you’re too far from the mic. Just giving feedback. :-)
You know. I edit quick with my headphones. When I do the audio sounds perfect. But sometimes I’ll hear it on someone’s system and it’s overpowering. I’ll try to tweak it lower than I feel it needs to be. Maybe it will be better.
if you are using it on the climbs only you can also use pedal assist you would get about 80/100 Kil ,i agree some extra weight but no so much to outweigh the benefit ,maybe you can get one just to write up your experiences with it for free it would open up a whole new vista for you ,and cut down on knee wear and tear .paul Another Video Thanks.
Haven't tried these exercises yet, but might be worth it for the knee's www.moveforwardpt.com/assets/cbe46e14-86d6-4ed1-8d53-83044d0e2302/635314216498400000/kneeaclexercises-pdf
Just in different romanization system of Chinese characters. like Taipei, Kaohsiung(Taiwan system) vs Taibei, Gaoxiong(China system) vs Taihoku, Takao(Japan system)
bctvanw yes that explains the difference in spelling as they do not use pinyin in Taiwan, but I’m talking about the pronunciation. Kending is more accurate than Kenting
No matter what system you use, you still have to learn it to pronounce correctly. Such as Kaohsiung(WG) and Gaoxiong(Hanyu Pinyin), if you don't learn the systems, you won't be able to pronounce it correctly. Hs=X= sounds like Shi in English. Actually in Kenting case, "T" sounds like D in English if you know the system other interesting info: When searching information using different systems, you get different results. If you use Taibei for example, you get information mostly from China about Taipei. If you use Taihoku, you get historical information about Taipei before 1945.
bctvanw fair play to you buddy, you are very knowledgable in this area. However, I was simply pointing out that to a layman, not versed in Chinese and the various romanisation systems, that KenDing is CLOSER to the real pronunciation than KenTing, and that Matt was ok pronouncing it so.
Love your story about the dog that followed you..... but I have news for you. I believe that dog has already been domesticated. He doesn't seem to have all his - em - equipment. Signifying a trip to the vet, am I wrong? So when you do come across a true wild dog, you might be in some danger. Be careful who you meet along the trail. A beautigul doggo, however. I think he was friendly because he knew people could be. Smiles from a follower.
Wonder what Doug is up to now?.... i bet i know...
Please say at home with Ken
Good story, Matt! That dog is well fed.
I bet he’s taking some new travellers down the trails keeping an eye out for them incase they may stray from the path🐕

Love your drone shots. I really wanted to take my drone on the Appalachain Trail when I was hiking back in June, but alas it's not allowed. Would of made for some beautiful drone video. Have you run into a lot of problems flying drones on your travels?

I find your audio levels fine; I listen on headphones. :-)
BEWARE OF DOuG
Matt I would like for you to sign your hat mett
Matt what about a electric motor in the back wheel it would help you so much ?.paul
It’s just added weight and I would worry my battery would runout.
if you are using it on the climbs only you can also use pedal assist you would get about 80/100 Kil ,i agree some extra weight but no so much to outweigh the benefit ,maybe you can get one just to write up your experiences with it for free
it would open up a whole new vista for you ,and cut down on knee wear and tear .paul
Another Video Thanks.

Hi matt
No no you’re all good, it is pronounced KenDing in Chinese
Just in different romanization system of Chinese characters.

Heck not many Taiwanese go to Kenting anymore
Matt tx back k
weird to see English all over the place. Taiwan is very different than the mainland.
Taiwan and China are two different countries, and that is why. ^^
oh man, your in trouble now. lol : ) its true you can really tell that in the videos.
im staying out of this one..... ;)
i knew you would. : )))
