- A new report shows the number of people who are experiencing homelessness and living on New York City streets continues to go up. CBS New York's Natalie Duddridge spoke to advocates trying to get the number of homeless New Yorkers down to zero.

Now Suddenly for the past two years, Mayor Adams & the Governer have spent millions of dollars of emergency funds to help house illegal migrants ...but they couldn't have done the same for the longtime homeless people of NYC??! They were already people on the streets because of the high cost of living and now adding migrants makes things worse.

4 thousand homeless in a city of over 8.3 million. For context, there are around 10,0000 "rough sleepers" in London, a city about the same size of NY. Of course, if I cite stats for other cities you'll just start blurting about "illegals" there too.
Why don't you start with this premise: there is no such world where multi-million person cities have zero unsheltered homeless; that number will always be some value greater than zero no matter what policies or services there are. It's a lot harder to manage a large city than some little rural village on the outskirts of nowhere.

If the city and state of NY wants to seriously help stop the increase of homelessness, Lower the rents, cut taxes, build more Affordable housing and Fix the Dept. of Welfare to Actually Help people. And Stop the swarm of illegal migrants into NYC.
