I’m waiting on someone to bring that 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee back to your garage for a alternator and water pump video. With your detailed videos walking me through it I was able to change my spark plugs, change out brakes, and change my leaking oil filter housing on a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. You have single-handedly saved me over $3000. I can’t thank you enough.

Great video! I'm doing the same work, plus turbo blanket in the next couple of weeks, and sure I'll be playing this back a bunch! Now if you wouldn't mind posting up a turbo blanket install real quick... FWIW, your angles, lighting and explanations are a lot better than others on RUclips. I was starting to get burned out to all the not so helpful WRX how-to channels, but glad I came across yours!

Thanks man appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately this is my son in laws car and he took it back up to Fairbanks Alaska and won’t be back down here to Colorado for awhile so can’t do a turbo blanket video.

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE so I'm about half-way done now. Turbo blanket is in with only some minor gaffs (finally figured out the mystery heat shied goes under the pulley wheel over the j-pipe), and just need to screw in and re-connect the O2 sensors. Old intercooler, charge pipe and turbo inlet are out (getting the electrical connectors to let go was the hardest part of this operation), and mounting bracket is installed. The BPV connector on the factory charge pipe didn't let go easily, and can't wait to have something less restrictive with silicone couplers. Saturday is my next garage day, and hoping to get everything buttoned up and go for a drive. Reviewing this vid one more time so I don't have to keep scrolling on the iPad in the middle of surgery. Thanks again for a really helpful vid!

You need the COBB AOS as well. Keep that air inlet clear from oil. I have the COBB SF intake, COBB TMIC, COB AOS, COBB Turbo inlet and 3 port BCS, Tein Type A coilovers, ETS J pipe, COBB titanium cat back, and Megan strut tower braces front and rear, with a Faction Fab 22mm rear sway bar.

Sounds like a pretty nice setup you got going on. I actually did install a iag air oil separator heres the video on it ruclips.net/video/L5OzPptL2mA/видео.html and here’s a video on the dyno ruclips.net/user/shortsOku8CxbXST4?feature=share

Awesome video bro! Very detailed! Quick question when you installed the 3 port solenoid did the car run fine? I heard you needed a tune for that part?

    • @BLUECOLLARGARAGE

Yes it will need to be tuned to see the full potential of it but will drive fine until you can get it tuned.

Have you had issues with the charge pipe popping off? I installed a grimmspeed charge pipe and it popped off first pull. It also uses worm gear clamps like your cobb one does. I am going to try some t bolt clamps but just thought i would ask.

This is my son in laws car and he hasn’t had any issues with it popping off. Have you tried spraying the inside of the charge pipe with hair spray? I have done this on my Ford diesel charge pipe works like a charm forms a nice tight seal.

@@BLUECOLLARGARAGEi actually installed t band clamps today and they seem to be working. But this isn’t a bad idea either.
