It is the same with "Evidências". If you say anywere "E nessa loucura de dizer que não te quero", eventualy there will be someone carrying on to "Vou negando as aparências, disfarçando as evidências" 🤣🤣
This is Pagode (Pah-God-Ee), sort of a variation of Samba. It is one of the most popular genres in the country and you'll always hear it playing at a barbecue. These songs are MASSIVE here and I'd say even people who don't like Pagode know these chorus(es?) by heart. Also, you mentioned the crowd: I know it's a different thing to what you usually do, but you should react to Brazilian Crowds videos. Even some comparing "gringo" audiences. They always make my goosebumps go crazy. Maybe start with Queen's live performance of Love of My Life I believe in '85. You'll see how crazy a crowd gets. (But a whole video reacting to a few crowd videos would make my day. You're an emotional guy, I think those would appeal to you).
Oh, I'm not a K-Pop fan, but I'm a fan of their fans, if that makes sense. Look up BTS live here and go crazy with the crowd singing EVERY WORD. In Korean!
Ukulele is an instrument similar to the one the lead Singer is player. We play cavaquinho here, a specific variation of the old Portuguese instrument. Portuguese sailors took it with them around the world, that IS How ukulele came to exist.
those songs are massively popular here in brazil, this played everywhere in the 2000 decade. Even me that is not that much into this music genre I know the lyrics of those songs (it was in my young-adult phase, the rock bands, the anime songs, etc, some ppl in that time want "to be different of everyone" and hates at the popular)
I swear, the energy from Pagode and Samba are so different, it feels like you can't find it anywhere else, I miss it 🥹 Some luck and I'm visiting Br for Carnaval next February!
I'm going to paint a picture of what the end of the day is like here in Brazil: A bar, tables set up on the sidewalk, VERY cold draft beer, some snacks and this type of music playing (either on the radio, or live). One day come here and experience this feeling

The Brazilian samba exists for over 100 years, yes!!! And it is still a big sucess here! The rithm, the amazing lyrics and the fantastic percussion, the Brazilians are the masters of it, make it the best music style to commemorate life!!! Dance and sing!
i always remember Beyonce challenging the crowd in a show she made here years ago, i never been to a live show so that was the first time i seen an example of how ready brazilians are when in a crowd. I swear, we can harmonize beautifully even if we have 10.000 people together.
I grew up in a family that breathed samba/pagode, my father was the lead singer of a group (they wasn't famous) I was raised listening Revelação, my aunt loved them before joining the church. haha I don't like samba so much but I respect the genre since it was created in Rio de Janeiro, where I was born and live.
I had already commented once that one of the best crowds is here in Brazil, recently we had Linkin park, last year Taylor Swift, RBD, Coldplay, at rock in rio we had Katy Perry, And artists always like to come here because they are treated well and we show our love for them too. 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Bruno Mars fez 15 shows no Brasil, recentemente, 14 em estádios de futebol, ficou um mês no país e o vídeo de agradecimento feito em português, tem mais de 130 milhões de visualizações no Instagram. Isso é Brasil.
This song is a classic. If you sing it even metal heads will sing along in Brazil haha. I can bet with you that every single one brazilian above 25yo sung the title when read it.

Not sure anyone mentioned, that was 4 separated songs, added togheter for the live performance. Thank you for your reactions, it´s great to see your passion too brother. When you do come to Brazil, make sure to get your heart ready or it will jump out and walk around by itself.
Hi Luke, That’s indeed different, hun! But if I tell you that, of all the dozens of different Brazilian genres, this is I suppose, the ‘bread and butter ‘ of them all… If you want to get people together, drinking and eating in any type of party, you bring a good group that plays Pagode and what you get is exactly that. On Sundays at the beach, or in the park, if you get three or four guys/girls playing Pagodes, in absolutely no time, you will get a fantastic crowd following them in this very fashion, all completely strangers. Once I participated of a Pagode at a dead person’s wake, because that was his last wishes. It was just as especial, not disrespectful at all and everyone was even able to have a great time, where tears of sadness and happiness just blended very sweetly. That’s the heartbeat of Brazilian people and their culture within a rhythm. Thank you for showing that. I wasn’t expecting it.
If you want more of pagode and samba, I would recommend Diogo Nogueira (Pé na Areia), Zeca Pagodinho (Posso até me apaixonar - but there are so many more of him). From another genre, but I would also recommend “Chitãozinho e Xororó + Sandy e Junior” singing “Se Deus me Ouvisse” - they are the most famous family of singers in Brazil and the dad is the most famous country singer from our country)
Hehe, the pronounces are something /hevela'saum/, /day-sha akunte'ceh/. The instrument's name (that similar to a ukelele) is "cavaquinho" /kava'keegno/ (gn like in champagne). You know? I live in Brazil but I'm Chilean. We, Latinos, have the music in our souls so one of the first things I did after arriving here was to learn to dance "samba" (sambar is the verb :-) ). We can't hear music and keep quiet hehe our legs have independent life hehe Nowadays I'm 67, my bones don't help me like I'd like, but even this way, my whole body moves when hear a dancing song 🙂As my son said once: "I grew up with music as background"... well, my life still has soundtracks!
Pagode is a huge genre of a more romantic/positive vibes samba. The rythm is a bit faster which makes it quite catchy and appealing to dance for with, as you said, uplifting energy. It's incredibly popular among women and football players (mostly because of culture), also incredibly common genre to hear at barbecues. "Revelação" is one of the biggest groups, along with "Pixote" and "Exaltasamba". Pretty much everyone in Brazil grew up listening those 3.
Speaking of brazillian performances, I would HIGHLY recomend watching the CBLOL (Brazillian League of Legends championship) ceremonies. They're just as legendary as the Worlds championship.
2 years ago you reacted to a gospel song "Além do Rio Azul by Julia Victoria", there is a song as moving as this one called "Todavia Me Alegrarei" Sung by Sarah Beatriz ❤
The crowd in Brazil is always loud. It is part of our culture to sing along with the artists. You can watch a Rock in Rio shows with Coldplay, other artists. A show of BTS with the fans singing in Korean. We love singing along. 💜🇧🇷 We consider shows as an opportunity to enjoy with the artist that moment.
Ç is an S sound, only used before A, O or less commonly U; Ã sounds like the U in Sun or Under; R sounds like H when it is the first letter of the word or when after a consonant and before a vowel.

Here's a link to the song, it is an 50 year aniversary of them in NY, so unfortunately there is not a good representation of the crowd on theres presentations: ruclips.net/video/bxo9mtJjvS0/видео.html Like we say here in Brazil "There is no metal head when Evidencias starts to play" 😝

Ok, I hit play on this one, to see how you would react to it. One thing I gotta say, this is not a single song, it is a "pout-pourri", a collection of many of their songs streamed together. Hii!! Just a quick recommendation about the alien stage journey :) You see in the playlist there's 10 video right? I recommend after you reacted to everything in the playlist, you need to go to every versions of each songs!! but only if you've cleared the playlist to avoid spoilers obv, fan favourite version is All in-Till ver. and I'm sure you'll love it too! Can't wait for more alien stage videos!! Trust me each alien stage videos is gonna get more better than the last :)))
Samba and Brazilian music in general does not use the ukulele (this instrument is not, of course, part of Brazilian music, it is a Hawaiian instrument). The instrument used is a cavaquinho. The cavaquinho has steel strings, the ukulele has nylon strings. This makes the cavaquinho sound brighter, so it can cut through the traditional songs and the other instruments. The ukulele's sound is sweeter, less aggressive, and the nylon strings make it more comfortable to play. Although the difference is small, for us Brazilians to say that there's ukulele in samba is quite strange, almost alien! The letter “Ç” is pronounced like an “S”! Example: SAD ( Çad), SAME (Çame), SAW (Çaw). REVELAÇÃO = Put an “S” in place of the “Ç”.
I would like to give you the idea of reacting to Brazilian songs with English subtitles, many of them have the video with subtitles, it would help you a lot to feel our music more, thank you.

Nice to see you reacting to more Brazilian music. BUT, I gotta say that "Pagode" is not my "cup of tea". So, I can't really comment about this one, because it does not fit my tastes. BUT, regardless, nice to see you checking out all kinds of Brazilian music 😁

Very nice! Please react to Gigantes do Samba, Raça Negra, Só Pra Contrariar - Cheia de Manias (Ao Vivo) Thank you
Nice to see you reacting to more Brazilian music. BUT, I gotta say that "Pagode" is not my "cup of tea". So, I can't really comment about this one, because it does not fit my tastes. BUT, regardless, nice to see you checking out all kinds of Brazilian music 😁
React “Raça Negra - Cheia de Manias” 🇧🇷
❤❤❤🎉
Also might I recommend a mashup of Taylor Swift and Brazil? Perhaps looking up her playing either Safe & Sound or Say Don't Go here? (This is totally selfish, but these were my surprise songs and you'd love how we sang with her)
Please react to (Caetano Veloso, Roberto Gil e Ivete Sangalo - você é linda) ♥️♥️♥️♥️🇧🇷
Pagode/Samba:
Alcione singing Meu Ébano
Martinho da Vila singing Canta, Canta Minha Gente
