"Born Again" is ny album of the year. A solid all round album, one I can happily listen to from start to finish. Excellent uncluttered production. I'm not a metal head, but this I can enjoy.
Bridear just completed the first leg of their Into The World Forever tour in Australia early last month and I was lucky enough to be in attendance for the second performance in my hometown of Melbourne, which unfortunately meant having to miss both Hanabie and Tokyo Groove Jiyoshi, both of whom arrived in Australia shortly after Bridear's departure. Fortunately, I did see Hanabie late last year so I can't complain too much, and I was gutted that I wasn't able to attend their performance though I would certainly love to see Tokyo Groove Jiyoshi should they return to our shores again. But back to Bridear. Yes, technically, they were opening for Dream Evil, but as far as I'm concerned and with all due respect to Dream Evil, they were the clear standouts of the night. As I was leaving the venue at the end of the evening, I couldn't help but overhear how many fellow punters were genuinely blown away by what they'd seen and heard, and yes, Braver Words was among the songs included in the setlist, as the band wound up ploughing through a good chunk of the new material with a few older favourites (Ghoul, Ignite, The Moment) thrown in for good measure. In the case of Born Again, I think the band, for the most part, went for a more direct approach in terms of the arrangements which may have had something to do with Moe, considering she did have a hand in co writing quite a few of the songs alongside Kimi and Ayumi, whereas on the last few albums, they certainly leaned more into their progressive side but with enough in the way of musical variation to keep listeners engaged. If you still happen to be Stateside when the band decides to blow through on tour next year, Ryan, don't pass up the opportunity of seeing them perform live on US soil.✌️♥️🤘🇦🇺
Hi Ryan ,, Robby from oz 🤵🏻🇦🇺🎸🍺, the ladies started their world tour here in Sydney in a small club close to me , I took my guitar with me me ,,Les Paul custom and the beautiful ladies singed it for me and I talked with them for 30 minutes after the show,, so happy for that 🤵🏻🎸🇦🇺🍺merry Christmas to you and your family , cheers Regards Robby…
Bridear together with Fate Gear are the most underrated bands. I saw Fate Gear live and I know what I'm writing about, and I've read about Bridear. Yesterday they announced concerts in the EU and they'll be in Poland in March!! I hope to catch them. I suggest you watch something else though. Remember the auditions for Lovebites bassist? Aya was eliminated at the very end. Aya has just started her project UNDYING WORDS. There's also a vocalist in the lineup, and they're supported by the female guitar legend, EITA. The supporting drummer also seems to be very good (she was sick during the video recording). Very good song: UNDYING WORDS「蒼黒に咲く」Music Video ruclips.net/video/cAU1Xd-DcOI/видео.html
Fingers crossed for 🇺🇸 dates near me! More brilliant stuff from the ladies! 🤘🔥🇯🇵🍻🙇♂️
I am really looking forward to seeing them when they tour North America next summer. 😃
The whole album is good Metal

One of the best songs on the album IMO. Thanks for the reminder about the splatter LP. I almost forgot I ordered one back in Sept as a bundle.
