Got an E6530 without the dGPU. Put a i7-3632QM in it. Runs like a champ and it's built very well. Always had problems with the E6540 case cracking. Wish they had stuck with the previous generations design. One big issue I've had with the E6520 and E6530 is the palm rest coating. It gets sticky and gross over time. Not sure what to do about that other than maybe a vinyl sticker.
Yeah that rubber makes no sense there. Might have to through a quad core in there to check it out. Dual core 300 cb score not so good. Same score as a core 2 quad lol
Sewing machine oil also works, it might be the same kind that comes in the hair clipper set.
