In a previous video with James Renner, he said the ankle boots Amy was wearing were her riding boots. I have always been curious about that footwear because they looked very stylish and expensive. Renner said she did not usually wear those boots to school but she did that day. Is that a clue? Did she want to look extra nice to meet the man? Was there a connection to the stables? Did he offer to drop her off at the stables after the supposed gift was purchased? I am curious how often Amy wore these riding boots to school? Was this an OK thing to do, that she did sometimes? Was it a peculiar thing for her to do? Were these boots to be saved and used only while riding? With that question, I am thinking of the style and apparent expense of the boots. If I am correct on those suppositions, possibly Amy was not supposed to wear the boots to school or riding her bike when she might have scuffed a toe along the ground. Or did she want to appear a bit affluent, stylish, whatever...? Had the man led her to believe he was an important person, perhaps at the company where the mother worked? My thinking here is similar to how a slightly older girl -- at least in my day -- might have worn high heels to look older, more sophisticated, etc.
I would think her abductor is also a parent. He realized the importance of not breaking “character” in calling her mother. My guess is her abductor made her call her mother as to not worry her. From what I’ve heard and I’m making this comment early in the video so it may be covered, but one suspect had actually driven out to the scene as there were patrolman taking plates of cars that were driving by the scene on the day she was found.
I know there is a post on Facebook just made by a woman who said that a barn owner is the one who killed Amy. She said the man got very nasty with her daughter and she put a update on her post saying said barn owner is the one who is a suspect in Amy death not going to lie he does look like the sketch
I think there could be a connection between Jacob Wetterling’s killer and this girls death. The composite looks sort of like the killer of Jacob, he lived in Minnesota which was only an hours drive to Ohio.
