I used to watch these videos back when you were first releasing them. Crazy to be recommended this again eventually. I remember these dvd collection videos so fondly and vividly. loved these when i was a boy. thanks for these.
I used to loved all of Troma films with my twin brother, because alot of things can inspired me with a low-budget qualities, crazy synopsis that can define us as from filmmaking perspective.
Honestly man I really miss these chill sitting on the couch talking about movies videos. In your newer ones you are standing up and it's really not relaxing like these are. I know it sounds strange to call these relaxing but honestly they are. I wish you'd go back to this style. Still love your newer videos though.
I must say that this was a very articulate and good summation of the Troma films that are available to the public...I just recently bought Poultrygeist from Amazon, and it seems like they are doing okay, I hope they are around for a while. However if they do fall because of spoon-fed cookie-cuter movies, it is up to all of us indie film makers to keep the dream of true independent cinema alive, keep up the good work! Best wishes!
Nice review !! On the Troma's Edge Tv is there a segment where Toxie is lost on a NY street and approaching strangers asking " are you my daddy ?" ..finally he approaches a little girl ( who is played by Loyds daughter ) and she says " get outta here before I brain you with my baseball bat " . I've been looking for this . thank you .
Yay! I love nerding out and watching troma and also the office and extras was on the bbc channels but yeah channel 4 shows some really good stuff sometimes.
Ya know, Troma will be releasing a Don Dohler documentary, 'Blood, Boobs & Beast', early next year. It's an excellent film. If I may suggest a few more: 'Dog Years' (a well-made crime caper), 'Killer Condom' (surprisingly well-made, w/ work from H.R. Giger), 'Space Zombie Bingo' (does the whole 'intentionally camp' angle perfectly), 'Tainted' (dialogue-driven vampire flick), and, of course, 'Mother's Day'.
TROMA IS DA FUCKING BEST AND HAD STARTED ALOT OF ACTORS AND ACTRESS' CAREER..I BEEN LIKING TROMA FILMS SINCE I WAS A CHILD AND IM A 29 YEAR OLD NOW...LLOYD KAUFMAN ROCKS...BRING US MORE LLOYD..
My favorite Troma release is Chopper Chicks in Zombietown with none other than Billy Bob Thornton. And I do like Toxic Avenger. I forgot about class of nukem high I will have to get that one.
hey bro.... will you walk around your room with a camera and let us check out all your stuff... your room looks awesome and i am so curious about what all stuff you have in it.... please please...i think it would be a great video...... you rock my friend... JJ in TN
I just recently got into Troma films and I LOVE THEM SOOOOO MUCH, I am hooked on Troma now, I even wrote a paper for english and the setting was in Tromaville and the bad guy was Lord Kaufmaner. Nobody got the joke, :D
I was waiting for him to mention Class of Nukem high and Toxic Avenger those where my all time favorites from Troma. Gilbert Godfried use to show movies like that when he hosted USA Up All night on saturday evenings. The only one I didn't see was the movie "Blood Hook."
I take your advice all the time. Thanx. I do have 2 questions. Are you a millionare. And have you ever seen "Combat Shock" on DVD?? I cant find it anywhere.
his name is leroy he has a youtube page and has a imdb page. i never watched tales from the crapper but he told me he was in it as an extra and it says so on his imdb page ;)
both extras and the office were on BBC, you can get them online if you google '4OD' you can download all of channel 4s shows and good BBC Iplayer for all of BBCs
Great collection !! I played Toxi in some Tromas edge TV (mothers day , another with Toxi looking for his father , lol in which Loyds daughter made a cameo , and others ) I wish I could find . We also did a Christmas special on Cinemax in 97 or so titled " A Very Troma Christmas " . Would you happen to have those Edge TV episodes ? Thank you
pretty decent banter on your troma collection. i have all of the ones that youve shown...but i have many that you didnt show such as hellblock 13 with gunnar hansen, and also dumpster baby which is by far the most strange troma film ive seen. mothers day is a must own and if you dont have it buy it NOW! nightbeast was infact my first troma buy along with avenger box set. wizards of the demon sword was horrific. it had no real redeeming value at all.
Troma is an independent film making team, or whatever its called, that puts out and makes movies and has a great following, Llyod Kaufman is the main man that makes some of their movies and stuff. Troma is sometimes pretty controversial and is usually very violent and vulgar with LOTS of nudity, but not all of them have nudity, buts ones like Terror Firmer and Citizen Toxie have quite a bit. I would recommend checkin them out for sure, I just got into Troma Films and cant stop watchin them, :D!
Great video cool duder i take it you like alot of low budget movies and 70s 80s and 90s movies is there any pre 1970's movies you like i like right upto the 90s and some 2000s not much sence the 2000s was more into big budget movies i love troma movies to sence there a low budget company samething with hammer
There is quite a bit in all of the Toxic Avengers, but you can probably find them on RUclips without the nudity, but with all the violence, but in the first one there isn't a whole lot but still has its fair share but nothin over the top.
a really awesome film i also got cradle of fear this was a bogus score got it at a garage sale 5 dollars troma films rock also like toxic avenger kabuki man was cool
CRAPSTON VILLAS! I used to watch that here in the uk. I think it was on BBC2 back in 2000. Had that gay character lol. There was acatoon around the same time with a character called "stressed eric". Not by the same company but similar humour. It was a cartoon tho.
Tales from the Crapper...I laughed through the first few minutes of it but got tired of it fast. It's cool that they got a few celebs to be in it though.
I used to watch these videos back when you were first releasing them. Crazy to be recommended this again eventually. I remember these dvd collection videos so fondly and vividly. loved these when i was a boy. thanks for these.
I saw my first troma film in the mid 80's and i am still a big fan! its nice to see the next generation enjoying them as much as i do! great vid!
I used to loved all of Troma films with my twin brother, because alot of things can inspired me with a low-budget qualities, crazy synopsis that can define us as from filmmaking perspective.

I like this video a lot. You seem like a nice guy, no arrogance at all. This is rare on youtube and I am now a subsciber.
