The bridge scene with the 550 was so well done. It keeps you on the edge of your seat so well that you don't question how they were racing across the same small bridge for almost 4 minutes.
Bad boys II was such an iconic, great film. Johny Tapia was a great baddie. After Johnny kills one of his henchman, his mum says to him 'Make sure, write a nice letter to his mother'. When watching the film, I always picked up that it was a 550 and then at times, a 575. The fact you guys found THE car from the movie... great job.
"WHOOOOOOOOOO.. That one puckered up my butthole"... Amazing movie.. Amazing car.. And you get to sit where that iconic line (to me) was said.. JEALOUS..
John, in an outtake, Martin Lawrence opened the door into a pillar at a dock during a scene and damaged it a little. It was in a MTV special on the making of the movie back in period. I don't remember if it was the 550 or 575.
Still looks great. PininFarina designed Ferrari beautifully and it's really looks good till today. The best of the best out of the automotive design. Unfortunately, Ferrari today has lost it touch. 12 cillindri is poor in design.
that is awesome, I got to work with the Hummer H2 that was in Bad Boys 2. I am glad to see it still out there!! I have no idea where the hummer ended up.
Family friend had a 575m with a similar spec at the time. Story goes the Studio asked Ferrari for another one for the premier as apparently they crashed one. He was the only one with the same spec (575m and not the 550) and with a small fee of $12k Will Smith drove it a block for the premier. F1 trans car.
As a huge fan of Knight Rider, I knew Jack Gill was a legend in the movie stunt world but I didnt know he was known as Andy Gill. Is this a family of stuntmen and are they brothers?
This guy goes to a lot of work to manufacture more so-called value for the cars he sells. I would never want a car used in any movie, esp a driving scene.
Am I the only one who hates the changes Ferrari made when they came out with the 575. The nose and wheels of the 550 looks so much better than the 575.
Drop a comment if you want to see the full 50-minute interview with Andy Gill! 👇🏼
Yes definitely that’ll be cool
Yes will watch it. Definitely Cool:)
Absolutely
Yes please. This is a one of the most iconic car chase scenes (post 2000s) in cinematic history. Glad you have documented this so well!!
No thanks, I have a short attention span 😂

550 aged so well. I got my scale model signed by maurizio corbi, designer from pininfarina. someday... someday..
That’s awesome!
The 94 turbo Porsche is the absolute pinnacle of movie cars……
I’m sure when the 575m is used is you notice the paddle shift in the head shots of WS.
How about the Bad Boys Porsche Turbo?
....was owned by one film crew member for a long time than sold and recently auctioned for...I think remembering figure of about 60k?
Really love the 550/575 just need a direct exhaust to be perfect!!
Absolutely!
@@MarcSob22 done it on mine- just too loud! Had to put original back boxes on for any journey over 30 mins.

Talk about a find the 550/575 Ferrari Maranello from Bad Boys 2 is just as iconic as the 964 Porsche Turbo from the first movie
Indeed! Super happy to have found it
"WHOOOOOOOOOO.. That one puckered up my butthole"...
Amazing movie.. Amazing car.. And you get to sit where that iconic line (to me) was said.. JEALOUS..
Haha definitely an unforgettable moment!
Movie magic most people don’t see. Great interview

Yes! We talked about it with Andy haha. It was the 550
How is this channel not getting more views 🤦♂️ Amazing channel ❤
Thank you!
11:50 I can’t be the only one that thinks cgi looked better when I was a kid lol because I thought that scene was real
In the film amidst all the action it definitely blends in
1.5x Playback Speed for John

Great work.. by any chance was this the same 550 used in the Nicholas Cage movie?
Nah that one has a red interior
I must say, you don't see the bullet holes in the dash from the UMP anymore😅. 550/575 age so well and that sounds

fell in love with this car watching that movie
So iconic!
Very cool - thanks for sharing John!
Thanks for watching!

Yes! Andy got his start via his brother
😤"22 cars!!...and 1 boat!!!!...😡How did you totaled a boat??!!"😲
.....!!!WooooooSaaaaa!!!..…
I like the highway shots, a nod to the highway pursuit scene on Bad Boys
Not nearly as action packed, but it felt like the right thing to do!
Thanks for the insight, mega story! Happy Christmas 🎅 and all the best for 2025! Happy car hunting😅
To me that car is a modern 250
H pattern 🔥
Iconic is definitely not a word I would use with bad boys 😂. I just don’t see how that could add value to a car but to each is own
Would love to see the story of the Lamborghini Diablo from Exit Wounds
John mentioned in a video a while back that he gets asked about that Diablo at least once a week.
Did you catch the hit on the camera truck.
Oops,,💥
Yeah that was awesome what a really nice guy was glad to see that.
I thought Martin Lawrence got a door ding on that car...
would be nice to get in touch with john
550/575 looks the best not in Rosso Corsa.
Pininfarina era is the finest EVER
I gotta say it Will Smith devalued this Ferrari by slapping Chris Rock😢
Man up! You still having nightmares about that old crap😂
@@Destroyer-Grizzly-BIH yes sir Chris Rock is my hero. Will Smith is a zero his dirty stinky smelly wife is a -0. you Will Smith lover❤
Look better and better day by day. Kinda meh until few years ago. Now the looks just growing. Double gills wings. Long bonnet. Hmmmmmmm.
Agreed!!

Mike's car!
Very cool car.
Jerks with god complexes. It’s a damn car and the doctor puts the car more important than anything.
Huh?
Slow manual
It’s a phenomenal GT car!
@WeAreCurated a dodge scat pack will dust this relic
How could you not talk about the fake sound/F355 with Capristo exhaust that was used for the film?!
Exactly… I assume cause it might detract from the “allure” of the car they are trying to sell a little…?
