Why lock out VCT?
This entire setup is a copy of my s550. I can pull or swap with easily. Intake/ injectors etc. non dry sump so it was an easy choice for me
@@MRL Both intake and exhaust locked out or just exhaust? Just going off the grey goose running intake VCT but locked out exhaust and running 6’s still.
Correct and they have a dry sump that costs more than more people short blocks. I did what works for me. I have a dry sump on order along with my new engine but this setup was spec’d to what I currently have.

Doesn't the truck make enough power to need a hub dyno?
Probably yes. My S550 has made right under 1700 on my same dyno. Not really worried about the numbers just need a good base. Will add another 10 to 15 psi at the track/street
@MRL oh okay, I am not telling how or what you need to do. I just honestly thought that when you get into the 4 digit hp, you should use a hub, but obviously, there are a lot of variables, and you know better than me, lol
