This was so fun to watch. I always get great ideas from you! I'm a huge fan of the sacrifice paddock concept, where the horses have a smaller paddock to churn up in wet weather, to save the pasture. That way they can have 24/7/365 turnout. Here where I live, horses will be kept in for DAYS if it rains, which is just so terrible for them!
I love Equinola, it smells great, is very economical and mine seem very comfy on it. It's a shame horse keeping involves so much plastic wrapping. I cut the equinola bags at the top so they can be re-used (transporting hay loads from a round bale etc).
Oh horses. They will get used to it. My horse is outside 24/7. I refuse to have him in, but he does come up for grain twice a day. I understand for mud management and keeping the fields less muddy. I love the rug rack. That is very creative. All of my horse's blankets end up on top of my tack trunk and the barn cats love to snuggle into them.
I absolutely dread winter my cob settles and she doesn’t mind coming in but my Trotter half bred is a different matter she’s such a stress head she has to have the top mesh over her door cause she rears up and gets her legs over the door so yeah real nite mare 😅x
Love the rug rack, simple but effective 👍🏼 Contemplating making a similar one for Birdie's stable now 🤔😂
I do enjoy your prep, tidy, and routine vlogs, Beth. Here's hoping both girls settle quickly into the new winter routine so no silliness happens!
Such a great way to make a wonderful memory a useful display! Thanks for bringing us along for the cozy stable setup

So stressful, but like others have said I do love your prep. Hope they settle in quickly!
