There's NOTHING Here? | Exploring Lebong, Darjeeling 🇮🇳

Everyone told me that Lebong, Darjeeling has nothing interesting to explore-but I refused to believe that. So, I set out on an unexpected walking journey from Darjeeling to Lebong, keeping an open mind and letting the adventure unfold on its own.
Once I reached Lebong, I asked the locals about interesting things in the area. Most of them said there wasn’t much to see, but a shopkeeper suggested I visit Gorkha Stadium and a nearby tea garden. At the stadium, I met some local boys playing carrom, and they encouraged me to check out Chitre, a place they considered worth visiting.
As I continued my journey, I met an elderly man who also recommended Chitre, but time was running out. Hungry from all the walking, I stopped at a small local restaurant and ordered Chicken Thukpa-and that’s when the real magic happened! The food was fresh, delicious, and comforting, but more than that, the people I met made this journey unforgettable.
Despite what everyone said, Lebong proved to be a place full of genuine connections, warm hospitality, and hidden surprises. If you ever visit Darjeeling, West Bengal, don’t skip Lebong-you never know what amazing experiences you’ll have!
