im planing on buying the rk84, what specific keycaps dont match the standard layouts? itd be really helpfull if you told me

Yes, so the alt, ctrl, fn and windows key on the right side is 1u size. Where as the left ones are 1.25u which is the standard for these keys. But since it is a compact board, the right ones are smaller. I suggest you give a look at the lofree banana keycaps, they usually have the right ones 1u size. Comparing it to the keychron k8 pro, both sides are 1.25u size.
Also the shift on the right one is shorter as well.

I was planning on getting one of these, but I am aware that since the rk84is smaller then usual, did you just not put the pudding key caps on the ones that don’t fit?

Yeah, I kept the stock keycaps on the ones that didn't fit

@youknowwho1240 I'm not sure. I haven't tried any other keycaps on that rk84 before I gave it away. But it certainly had problems. But if you're planning on buying switches and keycaps separately then how about gmk 67? The board is cheaper and the plate is polycarbonate which I think sounds better in my opinion.
