Bloody good effort boys , those gradients are harsh , let alone with the heat/humidity and the heavy bikes. Rest up and full steam ahead. Thai people are so friendly and the food is nearly always very good. You’re in for a memorable adventure. 👍👍
You guys are nuts going up Doi Inthanon with heavy laden bikes. FYI, there is an annual Doi Inthanon KOM Ride and people do with the empty with nothing on but bidons on their bikes.
Will take inspiration on my club ride to Agay along the beautiful Riviera coast tomorrow morning. About 88km with 700m climbing from Antibes. Nothing compared to you guys. But still hurts in places. Legs mainly.
Nice dogs in Thailand, I like the curly tail. Hope James recovers, he really is a strange colour even for an Englishman. Good of the folk to help him up that mountain, good to see people looking after each other. You two are looking strong though, kudos to you both for getting up that one.
Hi Lawrence, thanks for the great content. What is the laptop sleeve you are using on your Tailfin, I have been looking for a while for something like this. Thanks!
I wonder if James should take transport further ahead to rest up and rejoin the team in a couple days? I feel like him pushing on while still recovering from being ill may not be the best thing for him.
For these bikepacking trips where there is a lot of time on the bike but also looks to be a lot of walking around during breaks, what type of clipless pedals did you and the other guys use on the trip? I tried to spot some shots that might show the pedals on the bikes in the various videos but I was not successful at identifying this.
BFJ and all the excuses...No, really I hope you feel better soon. Although I am glad to see that the illness/fitness/heatstroke/malnutrition/truck-bike and all hasn't diminished your snark.
You can't kill James on the first day, he's the only one that knows were you are going, elephant feeding a nice bonus not like the attack elephants in India.
Stoked to see the Dog, the Tiny Man and the Old Man back together for another adventure
The sheer joy on your face after feeding the elephants is practically infectious! Hope James is feeling better, too.

Try that drink in the brown glass bottle w/ the green label (to the right of the passionfruit drink). It's amazing.
What a beautiful country - and the dogs - so tame! Jinxed it now lol
Love Fran in white socks. Who would have thought
I'VE GOT NO PAPER CUPS
🤣🤣🤣 praise the lord we gotta close for the day
Awesome stuff guys ✌️love it
Love seeing you back together. And the elephants…bucket list for me too. Wonderful stuff Lawrence, thank you 😊
You're bad ass James! Keep going bro!

Oh yes "The 3 Amigos". I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride. Hopefully there will be a bit of "Pink Lemonade" 🎼🎼🤞

Good to see the three of you together again.
🐸 man will get better
Love this & subscribed! I rode BKK to Phuket last Feb, and it was awesome. Thailand is fantastic for cyclists.
Inthanon will be a badass KOM for Lawrence to break!
Thanks as always LC. Do you have more gear thanin India? Looks like all of you are packed to ride fir a month.
Such a lovely family who provided James a lift.

ELEPHANTS 🐘 🐘 🐘 ❤ 👏

I was looking forward to the drone footage tbh 🤓
Shhhhhhhhhh
can I get the dronings up?
Lovin' this...🤣
I see who is going get the tube pull...and he still ended up in the back of a truck.
This is going to be fun. For us. Not for James. 😁👍

Trunk action Francis

Actual elephants 🐘 😃
Bike “sit” James
'Elephant food' looks like sugar cane to me.
Definitely was sugar cane. They just didn't recognise it. Not sure they've seen it in its raw unpeeled form
I would do those hills just to feed the elephants 😂
The cat in the white top desperately needs a bikefit
James seems to be carrying a lot more baggage than you and Francis 😂 Does he have fresh kit for everyday?😋
Must be fun! Why don’t you guys contact Luis of Cycling Chiang Mai for some better advice & cycling camaraderie? 😀
James you can do it, if not, they will have to replace you with Ben 🚴🚴🚴
He's not getting his power down. Must need a bike fit...
Heffalumps looked nice.
James was not enjoying it
Awesome action at the elephant 7 11 Lawrence.
Hang on in there James.
Don't say F...ket & "pull the plug" on getting to Phuket.
☀️ 🇹🇭

Poor James

Clearly a bike fit issue, I know someone who can sort it out…
James looks very ungainlly on a bike for a bikefitter , very gorilla like position and a stompy action.
It’s called riding for 5hrs up 20% gradient. Muscles start to fail at some-point
Now I know you guys go to Asia, where British colony only 👍... That's why you're not interested to my Philippines 👌 respect ❤🇵🇭🙏
Has Philippines got cool cycling? Friendly people? Good food?
