What do you prefer for a bit windier days outside that the smaller foamies won't fly in? The 38" Skywing vs. 39" Hacker Edge 540 V3? Any other thoughts between these two, or a different plane in this size you might choose instead?

Bigger is better but the risk is often not worth it. I usually just fly the 32" Vertigo, the thing is a rocket and has enough power to handle strong winds

    Hello Friend!
What material is the PP ??? Skywing no longer uses EPP?

PP is Polypropylene board, a material that resembles vinyl but it fairly stiff. It has fairly good compressive and tensile strength which makes it ideal for model building. Skywing does still sell EPP hybrids, but it looks like the trend is to switch over to PP instead of EPP.

Thank you very much for answering! ; )
I have an EPP MXS and it flies incredible: do you think the PP is the best material for these planes?

Yes, I think the PP out performs EPP because the PP material is structurally stronger than EPP, especially in compression. This makes the fuselage and wings more rigid than a similar EPP covered airframe. The whole airframe becomes more rigid which results in a more precise flying machine. The very slow flying quality of EPP is hard to beat, but PP performs very similar and the slickness of the material I believe makes it much better for fast XA maneuvers because there is less drag. This really becomes apparent in the 38" size PP planes which outperform any of the 38" size EPP planes that I have flown.

OKAY! Very interesting your comment! I think I'll try with a 48 "in PP. ; )

Hi, the wing assembly at ruclips.net/video/4wkIITUnizE/видео.html , I still confuse that its wing detachable or not? or use glue?
