My grandmother taught me songs from the 1905 era. Like KKKKaty. She taught me her mother's and grandmother's era from 1855 and 1875. My mother tried to teach me 1950s songs. I love old music. My grandmother played the piano and my mother and I played the piano accordion.

He became a professor of music at Charles University in Prague and moved to Philadelphia in 1854 and became a professor here at Pennsylvania State and he played for the Academy of Music there. He also worked for Saint John Neumann (Bishop of Philadelphia) writing Liturgical music. By 1860, he was here in Chicago. He was teaching my grandmother piano at age 4 in 1909. Music is deep in our family

As a very young child in the early 70's my parents bought me my 1st vinyl album and sugar sugar was one of the tracks on it, very distinctive song have never forgotten it !!!

The music in the past was REAL music - not noise - not doom and gloom - not violent sex - just romantic or fun - or happy - or break up with a partner and sad romantic songs - but nothing political - that's why it was called etertainment - and rock n roll - Elvis - Great rock stars - POP - Blues - Disco - Beach Boys/Surfing - Beatles - everyone enjoyed dancing to the beats - and this music made people feel good and positive both young and older who still listen and enjoy these songs today -
