I am always so impressed by the planning in your videos. It is so much easier to plan for future projects when you see years worth of work in one video. I find the fusion of 5 plants fascinating, haven’t seen that technique before.
@@jeanettecoleman-mz7ie No, not really. I put my lovely little tree outside in the spring and the frost killed it 😢 I think it would have been ok if I had kept it in all winter or left it out all winter but the shock of the transition in the spring just before a heavy frost killed it 😢 It was a Chinese Elm. I have a maple now. I made it from an air layer. I keep it outside all the time. It's big and strong and healthy. But I will never forget my little Chinese Elm...
1:27 you speak the truth here. When I first started bonsai years ago, I was impatient and killed a couple of trees. Now I know to take my time. BTW This is a great video and I am going to try this technique.

Nice video. But my suggestion would be that the rock could have been better. I prefer using natural rock which gives the bonsai a natural tree look which has grown over a rock in the mountains. But your ideas are really appreciable. Thanks Arun. Can you please upload the video on bonsai fertilizer. I'm looking forward to it.
I put a natural rock under my aerial ficus and it became infested with scale I think, I don't know what they are no one has ever seen this type of infestation. It is killing my baby! I have had for over 10 years :'(
Awesome channel! Do you have a video about how often you water the bonsais? I know this is climate dependent but it would be good to see nonetheless :)
Very nice video, and I appreciate you using English and what I am assuming is Hindi(?). I noticed you said its hard to get good bonsai soil, here in the States we have a product called perilite. Do you have perilite in India? if not you can use styrofome (the little round balls) and clay pellets (the kind they use for liquid spills like oil or such on floors). Then use your liquid fertilizer each time you water. Works great, also very fine wood chips or mulch on top and some moss on top for maintaining moisture. Keep up the good work! I really enjoyed your video, and thaniks for the tip on useing the gauze, never thought of that one! think I'll use it on my next bonsai. I was planning on making a root over rock bonsai, that I was going to put over what looks like an old temple. maybe a few of them so it's more of a forest type bonsai, would love to see what you could do with that.
Yes my friend, the other language is hindi. I can get perlite in India but it is so costly that I can't afford much. I use broken clay pot chips or brick chips as clay balls are not available here. Thanks again for your kind suggestions. I am soon going to upload a video on forest type bonsai just for you. Hope you enjoy. It will come with update. So you have to wait a couple of months. Lots of love with India .
I use electrical wire also. its is cheaper to buy. and also, in some stores where I am, you can buy small amounts of it off of the roll, that way you do not have to buy a whole role of it. good for me because I only wire very rarely. the bandage cloth is a wonderful idea. I have not seen it used for bonsai before. i will use that trick in the future.
Very nice video my friend. I really appreciate your passion for bonsai. I'm going to try this myself and hopefully it turns out as nice as the one you did. Thanks again

It helps if they are all cuttings from the same base plant, that way they are all genetically identical and therefore compatible.
