Yes I have before by using tyvek tape. Similar to packing tape but way stickier Very thin. Works good for patching tubeless tape Make sure to clean tubeless tape very good with iso alcohol
This tape is suck. The end with the sticker always peel off by itself that make the air and sealant leaking. The glue is not strong enough. I change the so many times and it always happen. Waste of money.
Have you tried taping the rim so the end of the tape faces towards the back of the bike? This can help stop any sealant entering under the tape at speed. That make sense? every little helps ;)
Tried Muc-off sealant. Thanks to the BS reviews of Amazon, from people that don't exist. The sealant just does not...seal.And cold/wet weather, the tire fails to hold air. Terrible product. Cheap. And if you're going tubeless, you want to avoid being cheap. If ya have clincher...stick-with-it, and avoid tubeless. Right...Nukeproof.
@@DB-sd3cw It's a lot of things that has to be right in order for tubeless to work correctly, so if you don't do those right and/or use an inferior product. life won't be trouble free. I assume accu53mation had an suboptimal experience and deemed it not to be worth the hassle. Personally, I have had two sets of tubeless and the one someone else set up had been trouble free and the one I set up had been a bit iffy, so I'm here watching youtube videos to see where I went wrong for my next attempt instead of blaming others. ;)
Oh wait!
The muc-off stickers were for the tape ends!? When i saw them I went “oh cool stickers” and used them for bike decorations. 😅
I put one on my phone case before I realised 😂
Who would have thought you need to remove the tyre to put some rim tape on 🙃 😅
Is it possible to fix/patch a hole in the rim tape without replacing or taping over the whole tape?

@@devinmadren1819 I ended up cleaning with isoprol then using gorilla tape. Working well for the last few weeks
How do you install rim tape in pinned joint rim? The gap between the pins is to big to neglec. Do I need to put rim tape in the walls of the rim to?
Hi :). Can we use rim tape also with tubes?
Yes !
Is there anything wrong with stock rim tape? Or was he just removing it so he could demonstrate doing the tape job?
The stock tape was not tubeless rim tape.
The stock rim tape only protects the inner tube from the spokes/nipples - it is in no way air tight, making it unsuitable for tubeless rim tape.
