@@1Pegasus21445 it can be reused, maybe your to young to remember soda, water and milk coming in glass containers. Olives, pickles, sauerkraut still do. The have recently started putting mayonnaise in plastic.
@@PraiseGod428 Glass bottles/containers are not allowed on most beaches a/o public areas in many places. Drop a glass bottle of soda on a hard floor and you'll be without a drink and have a sticky mess with glass shards spread all over! And - people would miss out on the useful repurposing ideas as shown in this video! Many could be very useful for a lot of different things!!
I pick up thousands of empty plastic bottles and jugs along the roads by my hometown. I fill giant trash bags with them and then I drive them down to the shore and throw them into the ocean when the tide is going out. It’s a rewarding hobby that helps make the earth a little cleaner. I wish more people would do their part.😢

This Was So Awesome ! LOL I Can't Believe It !
I've always wanted to see if I could make an awesome raft out of bottles, plywood, and duct tape. Like line the bottles up on the plywood so they fit just right. Tape all the bottles together alone. Then sandwich the bottles between the 2 pieces and either duct tape the entire thing, or use really long bolts to join the plywood planes.

This video has to be the most straight forward, NPA, hands on at showing exactly the "How to" I have seen so far. Thank you very much

11:00 that is ingenious. It would be fun if you're having a cookout for the kids to eat a hamburger in the shape of a hot dog on a hot dog bun. Kids would like that. And they might even enjoy the the fun of pushing it onto the skewer.😊
I LOVE the idea of the bottle for the paint can. No more wastage or mess.
i normally use a spoon for that. solvent based paint, esp acetone will attack the PET

If I’m remembering correctly I believe all or at least most of these were taken from Kippay (or something like that).
These are actually pretty good ideas for very low income people / families and you don’t have to worry if they get broken by anyone. You could just make another one. Plus now with the prices of everything being at all time highs some of these would be decent for anyone.
They are not for poor people, they are for anyone who cares about the environment...although granted I don't see biden doing any of this. EVER

The ideas are very inventive but knowing the materials plastics are made from, some could be toxic.
They are made for drinking from so they won't be toxic, unless.you try smoking them 😅
@@SS-mc9hu I worked in a factory that made all kinds of plastic for 21 years. Plastic is toxic. Some kinds more than others. The liquid in plastic bottles, be it water or whatever does leach from the plastic.

Actually companies are required to use food safe resin pellets we called "Baker" pellets for any containers holding consumables
@@Anothermachine All companies making plastic use a mixture of resins to do so. They also name them different names. How many layers are in your plastic? Consumables cover a wide range of products. The deli meat you buy at the grocery store is covered in a thick plastic. It keeps the meat fresh for an extended period of time and I know for a fact it has a layer which is toxic. Could you tell me where to find this requirement?

The ice and fan idea is an old one but be careful with the ice water dripping on the electrical part of the fan because that would turn out badly.
dry ice would work, but that's literally co2. but if you suffocate, you won't have to deal with the heat anymore :)

Most of these are great ideas, some are fire hazards. I wouldn't advise anyone to make lamps or lampshades out of plastic bottles. The plastic is thin and lightbulbs can get really hot. The spray paint is questionable as well. I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer, just looking out for y'all's safety and your children's safety. I hope everybody has a wonderful day 🥰

( * microscopic particles) get released. These fumes are toxic and cancer causing.😊
