One of the complaints you had isn't actually even an issue in the game. Using discs in the levels doesn't impact buying upgrades back at base as they use two different currencies. In the levels you use discs, as you said, but the upgrades and unlockables bought in the hub are purchased with chips.
Haven't touched a roguelite in ages thanks to being burned on my first ones, but I really like the style of the UI in this one, VN style dialogues and that one robot looks really familiar. Reminds me of Assault Android Cactus a bit too.
Honestly, you point out my only hot take with this game, the sensory overload, is just to much, specially with the hud, but the game is rock solid, and incredible fun, i pondering if getting the game or not because how confusing and overloaded can be at the times
@@hammerfistrevolution5232 I have a feeling it will. And I already have too many games pre-ordered from Playasia. I remember reading somewhere that the developers want to bring a physical release here. So we will see if it really happens.
@@DieselJT hopefully a physical western release DOES happen... Though I’m done supporting LRG after that one step from eden fiasco, would rather buy this game & One step from eden through PA. LRG can suck it for all I care, good thing I’m fluent in Spanish so getting that Asian copy of One step from eden is more preferable too. Locking English text in games isn’t new, but that’s still some BS decision any ways.
@@maroXUprising I do agree with you! Locking English behind the western release was a lame thing for them to do. I might just give the bullet and buy this game from Playasia.
@@DieselJT yep, and you aren’t the only one in terms of having lots of games to consider importing through PlayAsia. Just recently NMH1+2 is getting an Asian Release with English support (good thing I didn’t bought LRG’s because they separated the two games for a overpriced release..) And now Recently Kadokawa Games is going to be releasing an English version of Demon Gaze Extra for the Switch, I love me some Dungeon crawling RPG’s PSVITA had so many of those, so happy to see em coming to switch.
Looks good but with the quality options out there - Hades, Curse of the Dead Gods, Dreamscaper etc how much time do you have or desire for yet another one of these games..
@@droopy935 That's the first thing I thought when I saw the gameplay too, BUT HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU REMEMBER THE NAME OF THAT GAME? Yeah, it was loads of fun and had a great style, but it shut down almost 15 years ago.
1:25 The groovin'... 3:55 ; 3 Game's thrice as long as I thought it'd be and seems to take inspiration from MGS4, sweet. You adopp child and then get the siblings to confront the mother, with the -2.5 you must have to give them back T_T
Looks fun! Might download it… gonna research how it runs on switch tho lol
I was thinking about getting a copy of this from Playasia but I'm on the fence about it still. The heavy dialog part seems like a pain

My copy is in transit from playasia! This looks fun and right up my alley.
Kind of odd that the anime intro doesn't seem to be in the game itself (unless you have to unlock it or something)
Yea I didn’t see it either…maybe if you stay on the Home Screen long enough haha

Gtreat review! This looks sooooo much like Assault Android Cactus.. I'm shocked it's not the same devs.

This is basically a modern, single player Spiral Knights
Any news when is it coming to PS4???
does it require a japan regional account?
What song is playing at the beginning of this review
Can’t stop hearing Rona as Jahy sama
thank you for the Review

Looks cool but im gonna wait to see if we get a physical release. This looks like a limited run release to me. So hopefully that will happen.
They have a physical release for sale on playasia but I wonder if this will get s western release down the line

Looks really fun! Added to the ever growing list.
Does this run ok on switch?
I didn’t play it on switch :/ - Azario
Have only played the first 2 stages on portable mode and it seems to run fine

I like the art style reminds me of botz god I miss that game
It does a good job of setting itself apart, but I think it just depends if you’re in the mood for it at this point.

This game's so great it gave me the Rona Virus
Lol!
Plz does anyone know the ps4 release yet.
It’s coming eventually!!!

So funny thank you 😯😌💘
so...
it's megaman
Almost forgot this game is Korean :P
How do I break guard? Talking about the boss, can't grab them like regular enemies.
Charged attack, keep the normal attack button pressed till Rona shines blue.
