@@thenameless7810 actually not expensive anymore. In china the cose of 1 kWh electricity from a solar farm can be reduced down to 0.1~0.3 RMB, including the maintance cost. China has been massively developing the solar farms in recent years. Similar floating solar farms is also being constructed in some countries if you google it. The reason that Europe is not doing this possibly because (i) the solar energy in Europe is not as efficient as in hot regions, and (ii) the EU has a higher importing tax for solar panels made in China to protect the local solar panel industry. Overall, in a short future, we will see more and more solar farms, likely built in some developing countries that have a shortage of energy recouces. Hope Greta Thunberg can be happy with this, instead of being a sad girl sitting in her warm living room heated by fossil fuels and criticizing those poor countries that emit much less CO2 per capita.

All people (landed house, Warehouses etc, Apartments et) need to fix solar panels on roof top and sell to grid, what happens is, All the energy will move to grid and anyone can use, end of the month when bill comes Electricity we sold to grid is deducted from used energy and have pay for rest .. for ex. In my home in India, We produce around 5kw, and our usage is 3kw, technically we get paid from Govt. Or in peak summer we never pay anything even though with peak usage
Good for the future but currently fossil fuel energy is still very important because solar panel technology at the moment is still considered expensive and unable to replace fossil fuel by producing the same amount of energy.
