Good video As others have said I wonder if you have a faulty watch as the battery life doesn't seem that good. My Gear S3 Classic had 23% battery life left after well over a day & a half of use. This is with Bluetooth on, GPS on, WiFi on & NFC on. I didn't go for a run but never turned the GPS off. My Gear Fit 2 even lasts longer. Good to see someone actually swimming in the sea with one as this is the thing I looking for. But you should be getting well over a day battery. Keep the reviews coming
@@AsianGeekSquad I only have the Bluetooth version of the Gear S3 but the battery I find is really good. Just strange yours runs out so fast. I'm looking at getting either the Galaxy Watch or the new Fossil Q4, but I have read reviews saying the battery on that one is really poor. Just waiting for a review like yours on that one 👍
If you go for a run or record a track every watch drain the battery really fast. The Samsung one is pretty good i have to say. If i run with my ticwatch e in offline mode no phone conected the battery is empty after 3:20H.
Have you tried downloading a playlist off Spotify and streamed music offline from the watch to Bluetooth headphones? That would be my ideal use when out & about so wonder if battery will be alright doing that. Great video/beach! My only feedback is it got annoying after a while hearing "aloha everyone" every single time you record the time/battery, but could just be me! 👍

@@paranoidghost2077 I unfortunately have tiny child sized wrists (6") and don't fancy the bulkiness of the 46mm. You've got a faulty watch there, or it needs a factory reset to remedy the battery drain bug. My watch, same model, was charged to 100% 2 days and 5 hours ago, as of now, I'm at 57% percent battery remaining and thats with notifications turned on, I've made around 7 calls on the watch now and replied to my text messages. Whilst the GPS does have a drain, without it on, you should get 4 days+ out of the watch without a problem. Typically with no GPS on, I loose maximum 20% per day of battery!
42mm, which I easily get 4 days out of without issue. I have Text, Facebook and email notification turned on, Heart Rate at Frequent, take 2 to 3 calls per day with speakerphone on loudest setting, this thing just runs really well, very happy with it. When I first got it, it had a bug where it would drain the battery in a day, a bit like what you see in this video. After reading online, you need to reset the watch, just once and your battery goes from 1 days use to 4 days+. Not had a problem since the reset, and always get 4 days+ now before a recharge needed.
Do you think you can do an open water swim track? Just to see how well it records. Either on the Samsung app or speedo on. Also, can you customize pool lengths to any length e.g. 10m, 12m, 17m, etc.
Agreed but from what I understand there is no open water swimming, strangely it's just confined to pool... Which I hate, guess I'll be skipping this one.

Hello, I'm a fan of Brazil, could you tell me how the battery of the galaxy watch 1 behaves for those who run 30:00 minutes a day and work out at the gym for 1:30 hours
That doesnt sound that good. I just got the 46mm bluetooth and I've had it going for 75 hrs since 100% charge, gps on, brightness at 7, aod off, wifi off paired to my phone and it's currently 43% remaining.
I'm surprised how the battery drains while not using GPS, it's more than 5% / hour, is this normal and expected? Did you enable continuous heart rate tracking? How many notifications? In addition, your watchface is very sober… Is this a "good" result? I currently have the Amazfit GTR and obviously it has an incredible battery life, but the GPS is sooooo crappy, I'd like to upgrade and as I have a Samsung phone I was thinking about the Galaxy Watch to gain assistant and quick replies, but if that means I have to charge every time I do a 2 hours exercise… I need it at night for sleep tracking too :(

If you are buying this for its Health Tracking abilities don't. The HR sensor barely takes any readings even when set to continuous, when it does they're wildly inaccurate.
