This video describes how to check a thermistor on LG Washing Machines, Dryers, Ovens, Dishwashers and Stylers (demonstrated on an oven).
* Disconnect the power prior to the measurements.
* Resistance at room temperature depends on the application.
* The info below gives an indication for some appliances.
* Always check the service documentation of your device for details.
Refrigerator and Defrost sensors: 10-12 K Ohm.
Freezer and Ice room sensors: 3 K Ohm.
Washing Machines: 50 K or 12 K Ohm.
Ovens: 250-300 K Ohm.
