I put this on at work, at my desk, and my co-worker said "I can't hear you behind this wall of noise you put around you". Perfect album to become an impenetrable island
I have to say, I haven't slowed myself down enough to really listen to an album in quite some time. This happened to be what prompted such attention. There's something quite serene in this.

if you like this you should check out some of the bands from the noise scene in Dunedin, New Zealand. If you don't know them, the Dead C is the classic template. Listen to their songs Helen Said This and Outside, they're a good place to start - plus any of their earlier albums like Harsh 70s reality and Trapdoor Fucking Exit .Also the Futurians (disclaimer, they're old friends of mine) are fantastic. Faster and rockier but the same lofi frequencies and female wail vox. If you want something more abstract, Eye (also friends) are amazing, great musicianship and you really get the melancholic end of the world emptiness of the lower South Island from their sound.
One of the greatest music releases of all time. Up there with Etoile Polaire by Phillip Glass, Super Roots 3 by Boredoms, Feedbacker and Flood by Boris, Yanqui UXO and Alellujah! by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and Radiohead. And No Love Deep Web! And Interview.
Not really my cup of tea, but has kind of a vibe to it! I ain't going to listen all the way through, but is nice to listen new stuff once in a while, right?

I'd say this is music, but it's really everyones subjective opinion what is considered music most people would propably say this isn't music so if we go for majority vote this isn't music
This sounds like it is somewhat decent album that some idiot added a thick layer of fuzzy noise over. That shit totally ruins the whole musicality of this. Painful to listen to.
I've changed my mind. After talking about noise music with other people on a forum for a bit, I have a new perspective. I see it as more of a way to block out everything, and this is very good at that while still maintaining a semblance of musicality.
Gotrilliten I think the problem is, the opposite's true. The noise is the only halfway interesting part. Imagine an acoustic version of this album, it would _suck_. There's nothing much underneath that noise.
This is like a normal shoegaze album but every song is played at once

Noise is a really difficult thing to understand, but once you do... isn't it pretty rewarding? It's really liberating, in my opinion.
