I think that Kepma being discussed in the same category as Taylor is already impressive. I just purchased their "entry-level" model for $329 US and compared the Kepma against all of the acoustics in the price range. I looked at Yamaha, Fender, Epiphone, and others. The staff at the music store all said I should go with the Kepma. I'm very happy with my selection and all of my friends I've let play it have been impressed. I'd never heard of them, but I think that isn't going to continue. The guitars are the real deal.
The Kepma was not that bad at all. Frankly I preferred the tonal options for it and think the Taylor is over-priced and overrated. Still appreciate the way in which you guys approached the comparison.
Good point but honestly most of us would use the guitar plugged in for gigs and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
For me I feel the sound of the Kepma preamp setting blew away the Taylor and the guitar also looks better. However the blend option was not up to the mark like you guys said. Keep these videos coming. Love the banter.
Hey thanks for stating your opinion. Many would feel the same but our opinion was what we heard in the room and yes the Kepma did also sound amazing so its upto each person's personal preference.
The appointments were definitely better on the Kepma but the Taylor edged it out tonally and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
One is a Dreadnought and the other an Auditorium so its only the shape that is the difference. Both have Koa laminated back and sides with a Sitka Spruce Top (Nowhere does it say if its a solid top or not for both) so its really a personal choice on shape. Since its Martin am sure it would be a solid top at that price range. Still check it properly before buying. Please be sure to subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan to stay upto date with all our latest videos.
Tonally the Taylor was truly excellent but with a better pickup am sure the Kepma would have been a solid contender and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
The Kepma E-Series review is out now at ruclips.net/video/vMgDnUauOCU/видео.html In 2 weeks time we will release the video comparing the Kepma EDCE vs. the Yamaha FX310AII, Cort A810E & the Kadence SH05.
This model has laminated back & sides but the A1E, which we hope to review soon, has solid back & sides. So please make sure you subscribe to ruclips.net/user/guitargeargyan to check out all our latest videos.
Saves on the bank balance but we also hope to one day review the A1E which has solid rosewood back and sides. Make sure you subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan for all our latest videos. That should give Taylor a run for their money.
Kemp’s guitars are beautiful . But so are Taylor’s . At the start of this video I prefer the playing of the kemp’s guitarist so I’m leading on that one
The Kepma definitely looked amazing but tonally the Taylor was excellent and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
Ha Ha Ha, yes it was a mind numbing PJ but that's what we really love on this channel especially with Shantanu.... the highest in quality. Come back on soon, the episodes we did were truly EPIC. Also be sure to checkout RUclips.com/guitargeargyan for all our latest videos.
There are some great Indian channels as well but I think only a couple of us doing this in English. Make sure you subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan for all our latest videos.
It could be?Who knows?Did you serenade Taylor with a Taylor... get the pun..... Swiftly.... forget it. Make sure you subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan for all our latest videos.
Kepma does not pay us nor do we endorse them. We always do our best to point out their flaws and even in one episode we clearly stated how the pickup just was not up to the standard we expect from them. Check it out on ruclips.net/user/guitargeargyan. Kepma did not beat Yamaha or Taylor in the shootouts so how is that promoting Kepma?

Kepma for less than half the price of Taylor makes a huge case for itself.
Absolutely, especially with the LR Baggs option for the preamp is truly a Taylor killer. The price definitely makes a huge difference.
True but tonally the Taylor was a class apart and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
LOVE THE INTRO, where is that tune available forget the guitars
Ha Ha Ha. Its something Sahil wrote for Shantanu to jam over. Make sure you subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan for all our latest videos.

@@SSJProductions possibly, but for recording & getting the best sound, acoustic is the way to go.
My fav... Taylor. sounds really good, especially the base notes.
Surprisingly the ES2 system was very warm but just heard the Kepma G1E with the LR Baggs preamp and it just sounds killer.
Yes it was great.
Wow! Awesome. Thank you for the music and the gyan!
Glad you enjoyed it.
Superb Sahil.Keep it up Dear.
Thank you
Very insightful, beautiful music too 👍
We're glad you enjoyed it.
Guys plz tell me one important thing , what about the durability of kepma in front of Taylor in long term.
Can you please do a comparison video between Kepma B1E GA and Taylor 414 CE?
I am planning to buy Kepma B1E GA

mother of pearl.... piece of art.... stop drooling guys... its clear you like the kepma more than the taylor
Yeah no. 😂 It's hard to let go of a traditional favourite.

Martin 000X2AE or Martin Dx2E? I am planning for an upgrade from my fender cd140sce!

Amazing!
Thanks so much Bhavesh
Thank you
I love the 314ce and think Taylor kicks every guitar out of the ballpark including Martin, so the Chinese still have a one way to go to still!
yamaha
Tonally the Taylor was truly excellent but with a better pickup am sure the Kepma would have been a solid contender and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
Kepma A1CE review please
Its actually coming up in a future video featuring 8 Semi-Acoustic guitars from 10k to 15k.

This model has laminated back & sides but the A1E, which we hope to review soon, has solid back & sides. So please make sure you subscribe to ruclips.net/user/guitargeargyan to check out all our latest videos.
Kepma sounded beautiful they both sound nice but I would buy kepma

Grt, But Why is the Taylor so expensive...I think both r at par
With the LR Baggs the Kepma actually sounds better than the Taylor but for this shootout I got the one with the Fishman Matrix Blend Preamp.
The brand Taylor has a heritage and so a higher cost but truly the Kepma does shine as well.
Taylor Rulez!
It was amazing & please do subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan for all our latest videos.
here's what i think, u blew it by not playing both instruments un-amplified. personally, to me the taylor amplified sounds better.
Very true. Will take care the next time. Make sure you subscribe to RUclips.com/guitargeargyan to stay upto date with all our latest videos.
For sure. At the end of the day, it is an ACOUSTIC guitar....first. Then electrified second, to make the acoustic tone louder....:)
Do the $399 kepma against 214 Taylor . Please
Kemp’s guitars are beautiful . But so are Taylor’s . At the start of this video I prefer the playing of the kemp’s guitarist so I’m leading on that one
Most Probably Yes
Holy cow that Kepma is only 70,000 rupees, like a 1000 bucks stateside.... not bad at all, half the price of a Taylor with better wood
The Kepma definitely looked amazing but tonally the Taylor was excellent and please subscribe to our channel RUclips.com/guiitargeargyan for all the latest videos.
I like kepma
