4:15 Bias aside, if you want to make Ninja mainstream and push it towards being in the Olympics, I do think that speed courses do need to be a part of the future, just not all of it. As far as the "Past, Present, Future" name goes, to me that screams that they're likely planning this to be the final season.
I like ninja vs ninja, I just want it not in vegas finals, and especially not as a full replacement for said vegas finals format Ninja warrior was made to me a gauntlet in the finale, it adds an extra layer, since you can be last man standing and finish first, but if you complete the gauntlet and kanzen, you reach an even higher peak. I think they should make qualifying like usual, an NvN course for a quarterfinals, a 10-obstacle gauntlet semifinals, and then like 50-75 ninjas get to go to a 4-stage vegas Yes I added an extra course, I was torn between NvN semis and the 10-obstacle semis, so I did both, but I'd take either one.
At this rate, ANW should just be sold to some other producer. The ANW management is too tone-deaf to what the fans want to see more of and they are instead paddling into this new artistic vision that just bastardizes the competition further and further. They don’t care about the sport of ANW or their fans. They just care about milking the ANW name and netting loads of money and views.
